That Grand Theft Auto IV limited edition package is, unless you're in desperate need of a duffel bag for all your duffeling, a teensy bit overpriced. Fortunately, GameStop is giving away ten-thousand dollars in a GTA IV promotion, so you could be swimming in lockboxes, key chains and other branded tchotchkes if you win. You could also be swimming in airfare, as four winners will fly to New York City for a chance to get that ten large. It's really quite simple, only requiring a text from your mobile phone or the filling out of an online form. No purchase or hooker beatings required! Good luck.

Uh... if 8 people go to NY, and there'll be A key (that's one key per group) isn't that a 1 in 4 chance that you'll win the 10K?
This means that there'll be 34 more chances to get in on trying to win that grab bag somehow. Crazy. And IF you happen to get chosen to fly there, you don't even get a regular or limited copy of the game? Boo.

Hell, if I win, I promise to buy five limited editions of GTAIV and give them out randomly for free! Now, if you get one for the system you don't have...oops. ^_^

I didn't think the special edition was so overpriced. I've had it preordered since I first heard about it. the game's going to be $60+ tax regardless, so for an extra $30, you get the CD & artbook and a bag and stupid junk like the keychain. thinking about all of the dumb stuff I drop $30 on (hello Animal Crossing gashapon figures), doesn't seem so bad to me. that art book might be interesting as this is going to be the best GTA yet, graphics-wise.
