Call of Duty 4 Map Pack Hits Next Week. Infinity Ward's "Variety Map Pack", originally scheduled for April 3 to hit alongside the Game of the Year edition of Call of Duty 4, may now instead be enjoyed a week later. There's no official word on the delay—and it is April 1, sadly—so await confirmation on the matter. According to the media alert, April 10 is the day. Regardless, we're sure that seven days of extra aging will only improve the complex flavor of this quartet of maps.

Aren't the maps 360 exclusive for 21 days or something? I think that's what it says on xbox.com. Or was that just another April fools as well? ARGH, why do I bother reading news on this day of the year... so frustrating. >_<

i wonder if the map pack is something that can be shared between multiple xboxes... we have three in my house and do not look forward to shelling out 2400 ms points for the maps...

I was thinking of jumping ship from the PS3 version to the 360 version, but just after hearing that xbox is bragging that they get them exclusively for 3 weeks is incentive for me to stay put with my PS3 version...
