More Famous Shmups Get Capsule Toy Treatment

For those who either missed out on the first line of Shooting Game Historica gashapon or feel the burning in their collector loins to complete the line, please note that National Console Support has commenced with pre-orders for the second batch.
Joining the line this go 'round are the R90 Ragnarok from R-Type III, R-Gray1 from Raystorm, Gaia from Star Luster, Geo Sword from Star Blade and.... Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone! Opa-Opa looks to come with little feet and a teeny 16-ton weight. Precious! I don't think I've wanted a tiny plastic recreation of a video game thing that's normally much bigger since I laid eyes on that Nei from Phantasy Star II figure.

I bought the first set at PowerAnime.com a few weeks back. They came in pretty quick. Cool little toys. I'm too lazy to look up the link but you just have to go to their S section and look up Shooting Game Historica.

In the first series set you get an option with both the Vic Viper and the Metarion (Gradius 2.)

Great more money to burn with the dwindling economy. I love capsules, I have spent a enough money to get a small car.I got a problem. oh well ^_^

i miss shmups. I don't have a 360 to enjoy the ones that are going to be coming out. *crosses fingers for some ps3 shmups* Either way i want to get some of these. I've always liked the model design on them. Great stuff.

I somehow avoided picking up the first set, but if they're still around, I need to do so now. I must have the R-Gray1 and Opa Opa.

Hot. Really hot. I want, but I've got enough non-interactive toys taking up space as it is.
@t0yrobo:They would charge like 200 dollars or something, but yes, it would indeed be epic. I need to really go pick that up sometime..
@McPaper:As kick ass as Ein was, it was sadly a one shot. It seems so far all the ships picked for this are from Shmups with a huge cult following and more then one game in the series.
@Grave:Shump rolls off of the fingers better. Shooter is lost to us and it's not worth the fight to get it back.
@excel_excel: Don't be, most of the games these ships were in weren't always translated and brought over. Working Designs brought over a few during the PSone era under their "Spaz" label, but after putting out Arc the Lad perfect collection, they imploded.
I'm shocked myself that there's no Twinbee toy yet, but then Konami hasn't done any thing with Twinbee in forever..

Doesn't look like that rolled off too smoothly there. :P If we're worried about length, why not STG? That's a little bit less offensive. And if we're not worried about typing at all, the first person that I hear say "shmup" aloud is going to get my foot shmupped up their ass.

Oh wow, Opa-Opa, that's fricken awesome. Well, all of them are, really. But especially Opa-Opa.
It's kinda amazing how awesome little 2D sprites are when sculpted in plastic lol
