they all look a little "off"...especially the face...

hopefully someone will come up with great looking figure one of these days...

You're quite right, she isn't swimming - she's sunk and has been stuck on that coral reef for some time. It seems her bikini-bra becomes lead when wet, and even her natural flotation devices were overcome.

I actually like looking at the buttocks and the crotch area for these PVC figures. I think they're great. I don't like models that show only the top half of the character, like Shunya Yamashita busts. I think they're cop-outs. I can't look at their crotch.

This Tina figure, on the other hand, allows you to do so. I don't have a lot of complaints.

If that's not swimming... it reminds me of the subs on some truly dubious Mazinger Z DVDs I saw once. The opening had "Can he swim through the sky? He can fly beneath the sea!"

Other notables are calling Mazinger "general" and I don't remember who it was, but I think it was Dr. Hell they called "Henge Helmet." Translation via magnetic poetry sets :p
