I'm not a fan of the lego games. I played the first lego starwars and I got bored after an hour. I didn't play with anyone else though, maybe that's the problem.

Not with official LEGO branding. They neither have a license to produce Halo stuff, nor do I expect them to seek its acquisition. They're a bit titchy about what properties they sign on with, both because they tend to steer clear of the more violent stuff, and because they've been burned in the past *coughGALIDORcough*. Now, granted, the fact that they've barely touched on modern warfare doesnt' mean they'd avoid sci-fi warfare, but the rating on the video game probably does. So far, the worst they've gone in that direction are a handful of PG-13 movies (Sith, the first two Spidermen, and probably The Dark Knight when it comes out). Ironically, they haven't yet touched on the movie that inspired the rating (Temple of Doom), even though they now have the Indiana Jones license.

Now, a while back someone was noting that all the restructuring that was going on with The LEGO Company looked suspiciously like they were trying to spin off the less profitable aspects of their business in order to turn the company into a desirable commodity that might then be made available for purchase, but even more recent restructuring casts a lot of doubt on that theory. If it did happen, you can bet some traditions would be reexamined.
