My Second Gaming Tattoo - Reader's Choice

Well here it is folks. The gaming tattoo those of you who didn't want me to brand Crecente's face onto my body for all time voted for. I think Justin over at Psycho Tattoo II in Sandy Springs did an excellent job this time around, matching the colours rather well and getting the whole thing done quickly and painlessly. He comes highly recommended if you're in the Atlanta area and need someone with a steady hand to get your pixels done right. Now comes two weeks or so of scabbing, itching, and peeling, but Black Mage finally has someone to stab in the head play with. Thanks everyone for helping me make up my mind, and being a part of my body art.

But that's the thing about tattoos, you just got the first one a little while ago, but the you go, "Hell, I've already got one, what's one more?" Next thing you know, you've got a pixel art bodysuit =P

Game tattoos aren't my thing, but as I've always maintained, as long as the person who has them is happy it really doesn't matter if someone disagrees.

Should have gotten a white mage on the right. Then you could have had a whole light and dark theme going. Villains on one side and heroes on the other.

That looks great man, though really the only option is to get all four of em now. But who to get on each arm? Black Mage and Red Mage on one arm, with Fighter and Thief on the other? Or vice versa?

Inspiring, to say the least. Unfortunately, I wasn't into video gaming as much when I was younger as I am now, so I never really played too many of those sweet pixel games, and I'm afraid a Tidus or Yuna tattoo would just look gay.
Never played FFVII either *shame*. Maybe I could get a Colossus face or something...
Hmmm.. But I like the idea of getting a gaming tattoo..

Crecente deserves something more than a spot on Fahey's arm. Something more prominent, like, his left (face) cheek, or over his heart or something.

I'm quite jealous that I only got into videogames in the 16-bit era (my first console was a Sega Megadrive when I was 9.) I can't really justify getting a pixelly sprite tattooed on me which is a shame because they look so amazing!

@Guild_Navigator: White ink fades very rapidly on a tattoo, so large sections of white aren't recommended.
I used to be an apprentice before I switched over to graphic design (not many tattoo shops offer health insurance!)
Also, fear is the mind killer.

I used to be a big fan of FFX and Auron, until Final Fantasy 12 and its Western-style battle system and open world converted me.
Be careful about what you put on your arm, son. Your tastes might change in the future.
