They do give the impression that it's some studio-backed film. Wouldn't it be nice if MS steps in and does something with it?! I mean,sure not a Halo flick per se but a quick 15 minute clip would be awesome (yes I know they did something like that before).

Biggest nitpick is the bodyglove under the Spartan armor. I realize that tends to pass in the videogame, but for a movie that would simply look like a guy in plastic armor. There'd need to be detail upon detail upon detail for it to actually appear to be powered armor. The costumes are great regardless, but a true-movie version would definitely look much different. Think more along the lines of the Iron Man movie armor.

@SnakeCL: Actually you just aren't seeing the details of the black-on-black armored pressure suit that Adam uses under his armor. It's not just a black bodystocking.. the undersuit is very detailed. Look at the rest of the photoset at the 405th website.
