Good to see Activision come back with something for PS3 after giving away a track to 360 owners. I'm not a big Halo fan so the track itself wasn't anything special. Was fun to play I guess.

Will be interesting to see what the song is. I don't remember GoW well enough to think of any song that would be a GH type tune....but we'll see.

The whole "free song occasionally" deal is something HMX should do more often than the one track. It's a good way to give something back to fans. And considering how long RB's been out now, a free song or two every few months would give people who play online something new to play through...since not everybody buys DLC on a regular basis.

Though I often run into people who don't have Still Alive. Why no love for the freebie?

@Sqwerell: I'm going to assume the Halo Theme and the God of War theme don't have the exact same amount of points so I can't imagine how you would have some sort of 2v2 match using two different consoles.

(And the only way I can imagine a 2v2 match in the first place would be playing co-op mode on each console with the songs synched perfectly, or something?)

Halo 3 is filled with some great music, it is one of the qualities that Halo is known for. The song they chose to release for guitar hero totally made sense, it rocked. Nothing about the PS3 / Guitar Hero / GOW seems to make sense at all. Man they were really looking hard for anything and a GOW song is the best they could come up with?

srsly it would be cool for them to add an hdd to the wii, but i don't see it happening.
if they can do that, they should be able to add more.
like a dock to plug the whole thing into that lets it put out hd resolution and stuff.

The PS3 was either 2GB or 4GB last I knew, but then again it already has a HDD attached.

Oh hell yes. My soon-to-be roommate already owns Guitar Hero 3 on the 360, but we were planning to buy the PS3 version as well so we can have 2v2 matches on Guitar Hero. Imagine how epic it would be to have a Halo versus God of War match? This is going to be fantastic.
