RE: Vomit Elevator :(
Post ultrasound conversation:
Mini-Bash: Is it a boy or a girl?
Mrs. Bashcraft: We don't know yet. The baby's still too small.
Mini-Bash: Know how you can tell?
Mrs. Bashcraft: How?
Mini-Bash: It's a girl if it's wearing a dress. Was it wearing a dress?
Mrs. Bashcraft: Baby girls are born wearing dresses?
Mini-Bash: Yes.
Mrs. Bashcraft: Oh yeah? What were you born wearing?
Mini-Bash: Pants.

@JustJake: I second that. In fact, the whole Bashcraft family should have their own show. Seriously, think about it. An American living in Japan with a hot wife, adorable kids and a job that involves video games and seeking out "maximum risky" topics all over asia.
You think anyone in the 18-40 yo male demographic would be interested in a show like that? Sponsors would be all over that shit. Do it!
PS. glad to hear that Mrs. Bashcraft is back home with you and mini.

And the reason why the belly is so big is because of the 3 tiny chinese making the clothes after 3 months, they are eaten at 6 months, meanwhile their machines are burnt by the evil fluid lost right before birth.

I use to talk with my parent about astronomy: talking about black holes, the galaxy spiral shape, how long take to fly to a star in C speed.
A that age, I whas in the know the death of dinosaurs was not a asteroids, A damn asteroid has a orbit, and don't fall into planet, so was a meteoroid.
I whas exceptical about the existence of God, but I mostly think that it exist, because other people think that exist. With all my knogment about the astronomy, the existence of God whas inelegant to me.
There are tons of people that think God is real, but I think is beacause old dog's don't learn new tricks. I hope one day a therapy is invented, so old people become as smart as 4 years old childrens, and become able again to learn new tricks. If only, because this will make learning new langs really easy :D

@geekgrrl: Never! Never! I don't think I've ever been the same since I saw a live birth at the Health Sciences Museum in eighth grade. Though, it definitely gave me an appreciation for what women go through. Just, wait a little while, BAsh, before showing Mini-Bash anything like that. I'd even let him play GTA before I showed him something that disturbing.

Just goes to show you how gender is socially constructed. I bet most adults would have a hard time explaining how they could tell a baby girl from a boy if they couldn't see their sex organ or if they "miss-matched" dress styles.

Most adults don't just have a hard time explaining what to look for, they have a hard time telling them apart. We don't dress our girl in pink very often. Multiple times daily we'd hear "Oh, what a handsome boy. What's his name?". I enjoy the the look on their faces when I tell them he's called Isabella.
