I really want to beat Psychonauts on Gametap, but after awhile the game will just crash my computer, which is the only game to do so. I have a beefy computer to boot, so I think it has to do with the code in the game goes bonkers or something. I would have given up, but the game has such a great witty story and the presentation is top notch... I just want to play it dammit! Anyways, I might play some more Morrowind, and I'm tempted to start a new file in Metal Gear Solid 2, but I want to finish reading the Metal Gear Solid official novel first. Which I might add was totally worth 10.99 USD. I think they could serious take a screenplay from the book rather than the game, and turn it into a kick ass movie.

Gonne be replaying the Twin Snakes, I recently replayed Snake Eater again and loved it, so I've decided to so them in cronological order. Its wonderful the way the entire series kind of locks in together and makes you think whether Snake was the good or bad guy in the original Metal Gear.
Also gonna continue Final Fantasy XII and Mass Effect and more Spore Creature Creator, which I'm enjoying immensly.

For me, there will be Metal Gear this weekend. I beat MGS4 last Friday (ahaha... I had a cold), I just replayed MGS1 over the past three days, and now I'm moving onto MGS2... for the first time ever! I didn't make the PS to PS2 jump for some time back in the day, so I've never even seen MGS2 or MGS3 in action. Very excited.

Also, majoring in Japanese came in handy for once. I downloaded Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 for my MSX emulator.

I played a friend in Tekken 5 DR online last night and I can honestly say beyond any shadow of a doubt, Tekken has to be one of the cheapest, unbalanced fighters ever made. Back to VF5 for me and the $30 I spent on that piece of shit on PSN was a huge mistake.

I would ask if anyone from Kotaku will be playing MGO this weekend but I'm guessing "no".

@excel_excel: do that. MGS3: SE is another one of the greatest experiences I ever had with completing a game. When I finally saw the ending, my jaw hit the floor. Understand me when I say The Boss with THE shit. You totally understand why everyone respected her when you finished MGS3.

the Boss battle with "The End" is one of the best I've ever fought. Snipers battles in the jungle are the best.

Hey...I'm starting to see a trend here. Is it safe to say that MGS as a series is one of the greatest made? Shit...even MGS: Ghost Babel on Gameboy is great.

Ninja Gaiden II, because it hasn't let me beat it yet. God the gore is awesome in that game (and I don't even LIKE violent games). I'm going to pretend that every ninja, fiend, or other enemy I mutilate this weekend is someone who thinks that the Resident Evil 5 trailer is racist. SRSLY.

Also DMing a game of Dungeons and Dragons on Sunday... still using 3rd Edition, though. And will hopefully sneak in some Smash Brothers: Brawl on the side. And hopefully Guitar Hero 3 will come in the mail, because I finally broke down and realized I should own a GH game. Already downloaded the Halo Mjolnir mix, and might buy a few other tracks... we'll see. Definitely looking forward to the Offspring pack, though (that's GH, not Rock Band, right?).

I'm probably going to start capturing MGS1 into a condensed, viewer friendly format, and over time do the same with MGS2, MGS3, and if at all possible (it's a bit different since there is so much reading) Portable ops. I want to introduce my friend to MGS4, but he doesn't know much about the series, and watching it, while not as good as playing it, will be better than me simply telling him.

Still MGS4, I'll probably start my 3rd playthrough to try Big Boss difficulty and see if I can get the Tornado gun and the Solar Gun, bit of Boktai action should be fun, and if it doesn't mean insta-kill for Vamp I'll be very upset with Kojima. Crisis Core arrived too, but Everybody's Golf 2 is locked in at the moment, playing online quite a lot, trying to enjoy playing while the nomadic online PSP community is still flocking to it.
