Street Fighter IV Dated (For Arcades...In Japan)

Japanese readers, circle it on your calendars in your reddest pen. Anyone outside Japan with a few grand to blow, you've got a date to book your flights to Narita International. Because Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV will be rolling out to Japanese arcades on July 18. That's less than a month! If you're not Japanese, hey, chin up, kid. Don't let it get you down. Because for Americans, it'll also be available to play at Comic-Con on July 24-27 (Europeans, you're already taken care of)

This is good news since the biggest arcade in my area is right next to a cinema so the day so far seems like it'll go something like this;
Early in the day; go play SFIV.
Then; go watch The Dark Knight
Followed by; playing some more SFIV.
Hurrah!

This is great. I'm heading to Japan again in September. I'd never be able to find this in an arcade around here after it comes out.

Wow, I think I'm extremely late on this, but looks like Ryu is looking at Chun-Li's lady package, which is suspiciously gigantic... Thus, reason #1 why I'm unhappy with SFIV, the art direction.

@gamadaya: I think they said it's Feb 09...With arcade sticks no less!
I hope we get it the same day as Japan! Can't wait for some SFIV goodness...

@shirizaan: Can't you tell we're excited for it? How do you determine crap anyway? Is it because you've seen the trailer a couple of times that's why you know so much about the game?
@Thorax: Yessir! I have no idea why people comment on posts which they either don't care about. It's one thing to have an opinion against a game and saying it sensibly but I don't get people like him who go to posts to bash whatever it is they don't like. I personally don't comment on posts which exceed 200 plus comments as most probably there's some lame fanboy-fest in there but I also don't post on genres/games I know I don't have anything constructive to say. Sure we can post on topics just for a laugh but not to look down on other people for what they want...

Oh yes! Gonna be arriving in Kansai on July 23rd so roughly after a week of this being released (and it probably getting hammered in the arcades (I'll get to play it first hand and love my fortune!).....
.....and I'll have a decent holiday in Japan again to boot!

Well I'm in the east coast, so there's no way I'll be able to make it to comic con. Guess I'm gonna have to wait for it's early 2009 release.

Ryu looks like he just got an erection explosion so huge that Chun Li's shin was deflected in the blast.
That or someone threw a mine in front of her foot, in that case where the hell are the mangled body parts?

When will SFIV be available to purchase, and what systems is it releasing on? I would think XBox360 and PS3 is a must.
