I recently tried to log into Metal Gear Online, a process which I can only compare to cheese grating your own naughty bits. I don't think Konami realized this, but they managed to make Nintendo's friend codes look good compared to their ridiculous set up. Nonetheless I'm still going to try and get my online Metal Gear fix, and possibly squeeze in some time for RE4: Wii Edition.

I just started FFTA2 for the DS. It's much improved from the GBA version. Judges are less intrusive in matches and there are a ridiculous amount of job options. I would assume that you have to unlock most of them, but I can see this game keeping me busy for quite a while.

Other than that, gonna keep playing Rock Band (The Pixies pack makes me happy. Screaming is fun) and probably dink around with the Spore creature creator some more. I just hope that Spore delivers on the gameplay front. Maybe I'll finish another episode of Sam and Max.

I'm also working on completing all the trials in NG2. I've already beaten the game, so it shouldn't be too hard with all those maxed out weapons to choose from. :D

I'll probably try to play some more IIDX gold as well.

I think I'm in the minority here but I'm really interested with Too Human. I've seen the classes video,co-op video,etc. it does look like fun. Sure the combat may get tedious and/or clunky but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt...for now.

Finishing LEGO Indy, and maybe starting Final Fantasy Tactics A2. There seems to be a lot of bullshit to wade through before getting to the "tactics" bit of FF Tactics. I guess that's what all the reviews were talking about when they said it was "deep"? I always found the preparation parts of Fire Emblem truly boring and this seems 10 times worse. I like how AW just dumps you into the battle with everything you need to win. It turns out chess is also a pretty deep game, and it only has 6 different units and zero resource management (aside from time).

Just got MGS4 from Gamefly. I must say, I am very impressed, but I suck at it. The cut scenes are so detailed and interesting that one hardly notices the length. The graphics and quality of animation surpasses just about anything that I have seen this year. The database is one of the best ideas yet.

But I haven't quite mastered the controls, and one time a Gecko jumped on me and stomped me to death! I have a feeling that I am going to get very used to seeing "Mission Failed". Like I said, I suck at it.

Well, I was going to treat MGS4 like a job to beat it, before the spoilers make their way to my brain - but weekend work has just ruined that plan.

Maybe I can at least get 5 or 6 hours in.

Otherwise, GRID is a sweet, sweet racing game to come back to every now and then.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core - Im making a train journey up north to see the other half so i'll be gaming on FFVII:CC all the way there and reading The Amber Spyglass also.

Next weekend i'll be doing the same and a couple of weeks after that diving back into GTAIV and MGS4 followed by an intense Beyond Good and Evil and ps2 platformer playthrough.
