Damn, I just got my Special Edition (Asia) from Play-Asia.

This game is so good on the Graphics and Sound department. I have yet to seen the story though.

If you are willing to lose the ability to watch Region 1 DVD's you can alway import as the Japanese 40GB is pretty much the same as the US. You may have to change the language over, though.

It's been 2 months since I decided to buy either a 360 or a PS3. When I read about the 80GB bundle...that sold me. Finally, my long wait will be over. MGS4 PS3 bundle + another game...soon, my precious. Soon.

Seriously, figuring out total costs for both and then evaluating them, that was rough because it basically said "Buy the 80GB if you can, the 40GB if you must" which forced me to wait...and wait some more.

Too bad the 360 total costs pushed them out of the running. Oh well. It'll be your turn next time, 360.

either way sony and konami are both in the money today ( have to wait til like 5 pm when i get out of class :/, but on the bright side i have a whole 3 day weekend with no projects due so life is still good :D )

I'm sad. I reserved a copy at Gamestop and there not having a mid night launch because there on crack, so I went to walmart waited for an hour because some lady was clue less about someone buying a PS3 that came with the $100 gift card. She just didnt believe him. In the end one of the managers came to me and was like " Im sorry we dont have the key to the cage that holds all the games. The guy with the keys will come later at 6 a.m." LOL I said. Now I guess Ill just have to wait until my gamestop opens at 10 a.m to get my reserve copy. I cant wait to CREAM my paints! I got the game early on the 11th and spent around 7 hours playing it. I can tell you that PS3 owners are gonna be happy.

IMO its gonna be GOTY. GTA4 doesn't even come close.

I imported the Limited Edition from Gamestop as £90 for the PAL Limited is way out of my budget but I get to play the eagerly awaited game of all time! The Waiting Game! Usually 48-72 hours of gameplay! Thats value

@the_answer: Too old? That's just hilarious. I always tell people that being "old" just means that I am gaming on much better equipment. See, when you are in the money earning prime of your life, you can, you know, buy nice shit.

If I'm not playing my Elite 360 or my PS3 on my 56" 1080P DLP with 6.1 surround sound, then I might be playing my Premium 360 or my Wii on my 47" 1080P LCD with 5.1 surround sound. And after a long evening of visually high quality gaming, I retire to my bedroom to watch hd programming on my 37" 1080i LCD (I have ethernet and the extra set of component cables that came with my Elite hooked up back there too; just in case I want to move a 360 back there, or a friend brings a 360 over to LAN.)

Don't be hating on the "oldsters" just because you are gaming on an old SDTV or MAYBE a 26" offbrand LCD.

P.S. I'm forty years old AND a woman.... I bet that REALLY blows your stereotype about what a gamer should look like, completely out of the water!
