The Wii will not be getting the PC/Mac version of Spore - they already explicitly said that the Wii would be getting its own version, just as the DS is getting Spore Creatures and mobile phones are getting Spore (mobile) - both of which only focus on 1 phase. The 360 and PS3 versions are going to be the full PC/Mac version - just no announcement yet.

Hmm...obviously, this isn't the finished article, or it's really easy to glitch using poses. I had my creature clipping through itself when it did some of the actions in the test mode bit.

Also, all those Sims-style poses and moods and emote shit seemed really unnecessary, and suggests to me more than ever that this game will pollute youtube with dancing video after dancing video.

a month before launch i can just about see it would build hype like nothing else but i got bored of making miis in about 2 weeks (i know its not the same but there's some parallels) isn't this going to explode then die down again?
its like those physics toys (like phun) great fun wile you do the simple exploring how to stuff but then soon you need to build working helicopters and time machines or your bored.

Anyone else have their creatures disappear? When I go to the Sporepedia in-game, it shows "My Creations (3)" but nothing is coming up in the main window. I also can't retrieve my creatures when I go to "Load Creature" even though it shows I have 3 made there as well.

I downloaded this last night. When I was ready to create unholy abominations, the game says that my graphics card isn't up to snuff and that the game won't run. I expected the graphics to be less than stellar, but I didn't think the game would refuse to even let me get to the menu.

The demo doesnt start for me. :[ I was able to play it once. I exited the demo, and when I tried to go back in to make a new creature it keeps putting error files in the sporebin folder. :/
