I love how Metallica has not changed their live show since the Black album. I stopped listening to 'em when they put out Load, but it's still good to see they start the show with Battery.

I don't know about you guys, but watching the vid makes me like GTA 4 less. The damage isn't realistic engouh. Jump out of a helicopter and still live? Flip your car over and it barely gets damaged?

Thats one thing I love about GTA IV, a bunch of guys can sit around watching one person fuck around and still have fun laughing at all the shit that happens. I just did that this weekend as a matter of fact, at A-kon.

The ones that impressed me most involved the motorcycles, and didn't end with crashes. Any idiot can flip a car in that game, but flipping the bikes without crashing is something this idiot hasn't yet mastered.

I was just thinking today about how it'd be nice if you could turn on character damage from car wrecks, seeing as I've had numerous fatal motorcycle wrecks but have plummeted 3 stories off a garage in a car and only had to switch vehicles at the bottom.

I was a big fan of the dirt bike gap transfer at the skate park.

The pool stunt was impressive the first time, not so much the second time, and I nearly choked the third time. I was like "Ho-hum, Another pool jump" but then he hit the roof. I've got to see the bloopers reels from this.

A lot of these stunts are only possible by cheating though and spawning vehicles, but still neat to see.

Once I finally beat the story, I spent the next two hours or so just jumping off stuff and out of helicopters dying for fun. I managed to drop into the lake in Middle Park from maximum helicopter height once out of my 6 or so attempts, but I guess it's so shallow or I hit so close to the shore that I died anyway. Most of the more fun and awesome "stunts" involved bouncing myself off buildings after leaping from the chopper or launching myself from the magic swingset of doom (which one time, flung my car at like a 45 degree angle from it while knocking me out of the car and sent me flying perpendicular to the swings about 10 blocks away, and when I finally landed, me and my car were still ok).

@foxhound417: It's been that way since San Andreas, for better playability (if somewhat unrealistic). In III and Vice City, it was very easy to flip a car, sort of discouraged bold driving.

That's a great video, I'm glad he edited out most of the bad landings, some amazing stuff in there!

I still miss the bicycle from San Andreas going on pedal-powered rampages! Bikes were completely indestructible, and bunny-hopping was so addictive! Using oncoming windshields for jump ramps! You could really imagine how those punk in E.T. felt running from the cops on BMX.

TBH most of those were meh, but some were pretty sweet, and I didn't need to see the same pool fall 3times though.

But, strip club bike jump was awesome, care jump onto barge was cool, my favorite though was the bike flip where he drove upsidedown for a second and fliped over. I also find it interesting how many of those clips he didn't show his landing :P

Also pretty obvious he stretched the video out to fit the song, hence it being about five times longer than it should be.

I love stunting around but in the top video I was only impressed by the pool dives. Sportbike backflips are fun, but... you can even do them easily on the stairs at the dock, and the bike bounces wildly if it hits any curb or bump with the front wheel lifted so you can jump most places (nice accurate hop at the strip club though)

It's great that this game isn't such a car-stealing bastard as the others though - I ride my bike into any building and up stairs all the time for a quick getaway and easy exploration. At worst it hits a cutscene and the bike lands out front on the street. It's also nice that you can roll backwards without instantly falling off. Endo turns still work pretty well at believable speeds and a bit above. I'd like to see some backward or endo jumps (so I guess I'll have to try it!) It is a little sad I can't use the bike torpedo anymore though - in VC I used to ride full speed at someone then hop off the bike, especially when you rescue Lance from the junkyard and the guards see you from a mile away: I rode up, ditched the bike into them, picked it up, got Lance, and rode off, haha

That was worth it, just for the song. Haven't heard Battery in a long, long time. I remember hearing they re-did a bunch of songs with an orchestra... sounded cool.

Definitely some sweet stunts in that video. I'm going to have pop in my copy of the game and try some of those out. The airport bike stunt where he ramps up the column, flips over backwards, and lands was sweet as all heck.
