Wish I had a pic of a "waterpipe" a guy i knew in college had. Had all the dragon balls made out of big marbles on it.

If a talented glass blower out there makes some that would be about as close to real dragon balls as one could get. Getting the stars into 3 dimensions (viewable from every angle) might be hard though.

@alphamai1300: I looked FOREVER for something i could use as a star. I even tried to cast one out of resin unsuccessfully. I finally found some magic wand at the dollar store that I took apart and painted. It worked out much better than I thought.

Funny story about the it being on the outside though. it was too buoyant when I tried to put it inside so I was going to let the epoxy gel a bit and then try again. However, epoxy gets REALLY hot when it cures. It gets so hot in fact that I couldn't touch the ball anymore. Fearing a fire I dropped it in the fridge for 30 min which apparently was long enough for the top layer to harden. Being screwed, my only option was to glue it on the outside. It actually turned out looking a bit better this way as the globe made the star look HUGE when it was inside the ball.

@Angryrider: Actually I do. I'm from Chile, in South America, to be precise. It's autumn here but it gets cold as hell (even though hell is hot :D ).

There's another reason why I didn't did other balls: I only had one pokéball to mold them. The white plastic on the left is the lower half of the pokeball, the other half just got lost a few days aho :(.
