When this game finally comes out, we're going to have planets of Head Crabs attacking the Nation of Q-Berts, only to be invaded by the Militristic Communist Empire of Care bears. I remember when Marvel sued City of Heroes because users could create Marvel's copyrighted heroes in the game quite accurately. I wonder will spore get in trouble for faithful recreations of pokemon or some other copyrighted characters. I certainly hope not because for me the most interesting spore creations are the ones I recognise from elsewhere.

@GravyBoi: Well, what happed at CoH is that players are encouraged to report ripoff characters for a good ol' whack of the costume, name and profile deletion bat. I bet creating an infringement in Spore will get your creatures deleted, same with an inappropriate creature... if you get caught.
