I'd be interested if the figures were packaged by well-paid employees with fair benefits, overtime pay and humane working conditions. If not, I'd just feel like a whore. And I'm sick and tired of feeling whoreish -- esp considering the profit the original Gears made and how easily it could do things right.

I just rejected a Raiders of the Lost Ark toy at Target because it didn't meet these specifications. Not a single one. Indy would be ashamed.

Looks good... it was announced some time ago... the store I usually buy this kind of stuff at says it comes out in august. It will cost around 50,- (euro's that is)
Maybe it will be out before august in the US, I don't know.

@Jippon: This series is out now. In August, the second series is coming out. I believe it will have RAMM, a locust with its head being splattered (looks cool), and some other characters.

So either it is coming out later there or maybe your store is mistaken.

@Sloopydrew: Not to get off-topic, but you raise a good point about the ethical dilemmas here. I try to buy "Fair Trade" food, but for products like this you often have no choice. (And buying ethical clothing?... almost impossible these days. Italy is about the only source left, especially since "Made In the USA" could mean a sweatshop in Saipan.) I really have to mull it over when I buy action figures.

I'm from Middle Earth (NZ) and I already have these. The cogs look good but the locusts look ultra awesome. Moreover each figure has 10+ articulation points which means some cool poses. All 4 of them on my desk, next to my big daddy and the god of war.
PS: Price I got them for was US$54.90 for that box of 4. They are available separately for a price of US$19.90.
