So far, I've liked the PSN Store updates we've gotten for the past couple of weeks. Plenty of demos, plenty of good add-ons, and plenty of videos. I'm glad we're getting the Hot Shots demo, it's a fantastic game, but I have two questions:

1) How come it took so long? Didn't Europe get it months ago?

2) Are we going to get more PS1 games on PSN? I look at the Japanese store, I get excited. I look at the US store, and I cry. I look at the Europe store, and I feel sorry for them.

All I'm saying is this:

You have a good, solid online network that brings players together from around the world, I want to ask this:

Can you unify it? Make ever PS Store the same. What Japan gets, both NA and Europe gets. What we get, both Europe and Japan gets. What Europe gets, Japan and NA gets. What I'm saying is that PSN has the potential to be the best thing out there, but the one thing holding it back is store content. Like I said earlier, what's there already is nice, but each regions store is severely different in terms of content, or in terms of when two different stores get said content.

That was the same thing I asked on the PS Blog comments section.

they need to stop calling them updates and the content should steadily stream into the store. I don't see how a patch system could handle the amount of content that will start coming.

I blame Rock Band and Guitar Hero for the shitty content over the last few weeks/months.

I think Sony just figures "everybody loves Rock Band" and because of that they can slide for the umpteenth week in a row on giving us things like Dark Mist or some (any) PS1 games.

A little off topic, but anyone experience this before? I got an email saying £5 funds added to my PSN wallet - but I never did anything. £5 added, £6.50 in wallet according to the email. However on the psn store, it says the normal £1.50 left in wallet and in the transaction history theres nothing of this mystery £5. any ideas?

See, I can understand buying Men In Black because, while I hate that film with a fiery passion, it's the kind of special effects romp that would benefit from hi-def. A little-known Mike Myers 90s comedy? Notsomuch.

Rockband has it's own in-game store and yet week afer week the PS Store keeps posting the new songs to fill up space on their own extremely thin updates. Add in the collection of advertising material (publisher released trailers and 10-20 minute demos) and you have, well, nothing Sony should be taking credit for.

But for those of us who have experienced the aptitude of the MMO branch of Sony Online in the past... I guess we should be content with the fact that the PS Store "stuff" at least runs after you download it.

The lack of ps1 games that there is an outcry for is either caused by lack of profitability or laziness. Either way it probably won't change.
