First House of the Dead EX Screens

As foretold, here are the first screens of zombie love, zombie bowling, zombie rock and roll, zombie sumo, zombie apple picking Ai sareru yori ai shitai: House of the Dead EX. The game looks more causal and more crazy. It's jammed pack with mini-games that are controlled by the gun and the foot pedal — mini games, and that's not in a pejorative sense! This series spin-off looks fun and totally fitting for arcade play. We approve, SEGA, we really do.

Looks like they took the idea of Sega Superstars Tennis and applied it to a gun game. Also for a split second the artwork had me hoping we were getting a new Jet Set Radio!
Hopefully there will be a Wii version of this at some point.

@Kinketsu: Damn, somebody else spotted it. I want more causal games! (That said, I guess the most famous causal game was the one in the old film 'War Games', so, um, yeah, maybe better not.)
So what's the translation of the name? My Japanese is crap: I get either 'more than being loved, I want to love' or 'more than being loved, love corpse' - so yep, pretty sure it's a pun, but not so sure about the rest of it...

Before I read anything I thought of a much better concept than what they ended up doing. Imagine going House of the Dead style on these same popular games they're mocking and killing the main characters who have become zombies!
We could have Zombie rock band and guitar hero, zombie pokemon, zombie mario and luigi....... zombie snake! snaaaaaaaaaake!

Ahh... yes good ol' quirky Sega, where have you been? I'd like to try this out, but sadly the only arcades I know in NYC are Dave & Busters, where the games cost $4 a pop and Barcade where they only have classic games. Flushing got rid of the only close arcade I knew of. :(

Aside from the zombie 'band' im really looking forward to this, HOTD has been long overdue for an overhaul since they thought improving the series meant using different shaped plastics for guns. Looking forward to this

Ugh...It's Wii Play with zombies. Typing of the Dead was an interesting spin on the game. This is just a shameless cash-in.
