What I find most amazing is how they manage this with Forge!

I say this as a Halo 3 fanboy - but the controls in Forge are awful, it's incredibly hard to place items and crates, especially if you want everything to look straight and nice.. imho Forge is awful.

Its a built in map "editor" You can mess around with weapon placements, spawns, vehicles, and insert objects from selected pallet- so in that sense, yes it is like garrys mod...but no where near as cool.

I'm sure there are others but I'm not going to go looking for them. I'd like to point out though that a few days ago I submitted a story about a Halo community effort to achieve 7 billion campaign kills in Halo 3 by 7/7/08 (Bungie Day) and it was never posted...but Forge anime makes the cut :\

Looking at the statistics on bungie.net the current UNSC Campaign Kill Count is 6,937,856,772. I doubt we'll get over 60 million kills by the end of the day. I'm really disappointed Kotaku passed on posting the story.

I hate it when people say "they have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much time on their hands." With the addition of maybe saying "They need a GF". What happens if it was a chick who did that? Oh what do they need a BF? Or do they need to be sent your way?

You could probably create the same thing too given you took the time to do it. Who knows how long some of those took to create. It "COULD" of been about an hour or so toying around and an hour or two tweaking it. Who knows!? In that very hour you're instead doing a multitude of things. You're fragging someone in your online matches, watching tv, or surfing the net. You may or may not be doing anything constructive with your time. You can make time to do something creative with yourself.

Honestly it's porn, rather hentai at that but come on that's pretty cool you have to admit.

I'm at this fault too though. With the hours i toil away surfing the net and playing games. I too could be learning how to do a multitude of things. Learning my guitar (for real not Rock Band/Guitar Hero), Getting myself familiar with programming, practice photoshop, learning pixel art, photography. A lot of my hobbies are just eaten away by games and TV. It's sad i must say but...its such a hard routine to break out of. Just need to have the will to break free of it ya know. And yes i know i should practice what I preach.

Anyways if you don't feel like reading all of that.
