Honestly, this looks to be shaping up as the least exciting E3 ever across all 3 platforms. What surprises do MS, Sony or Nintendo even have anymore? Just show lots of Fable 2, Gears 2 and Fallout 3 and I guess I can live with that.

I'm actually more interested in their PC announcements than Xbox. Like, how about making that Games For Windows worth something. How about including more games with achievements that show on your Gamercard (more than just Halo 2). Also, integrating your Live friends list in GFW branded games? I'm not saying turn the PC into Xbox Live, just give me a little more integration that you partially have with xbox.com.

Um, we still haven't heard about the rumored "trivia game portal" or "lips". I'd like Capcom to release Powerstone 2 for XBLA, as well as Seg announcing Chu-Chu Rocket Arcade. I would love to some brand new sprite based games like Castle Crashers. The DS isn't the only system that can do them.

I really think we're going to see some significant upgrades to Live and/or free/reduced cost. Live (and Halo) is the reason I turn on my 360 more often than my PS3 still, but the PSN is catching up slowly but surely. MS has to do something to keep the paid service justified.

I also think we will soon see a new SKU with a bigger drive to replace the 20 gig Pro, which also explains the price cut of $50 as they clear out that inventory before launching the new model.

I HOPE to see one secret gadget/project/game that is relatively big that we have not seen leaked. If their "big announcement" is x-mote, I'll be sad.

There won't be any "bombshell" moments because it's just not possible anymore. We've already heard everything 10 times over so nothing will be a surprise.

I'd imagine the biggest "news" announcments will involve details on the GTA IV DLC, and all of the specifics regarding the price drop and the 60gb model.

Other than that, just the generic stuff. More Fable 2 news, Forza 3, etc. The days of E3 shocking us with huge news is over and done with. Sites like this make it impossible for a show like E3 to really bring about huge information anymore.

I think a motion sensitive X-box control stick thinger would be a welcome addition to Microsoft's arsenal. I would love to see more mature titles made with innovative motion controls.

I'd even be satisfied for a ripoff of wii sports so my girlfriend would play games with me!

And about this being a weak showing from Microsoft, I really disagree.. Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 are both very promising X-box 360 exclusives.

It's all about Fallout 3 though.

Hmm, MS predictions, huh, try this on for size: Peter Moleyneux presents Fable II, rips his mask off only for us to find out that he's really Jeff Bell. But then he takes his mask off and it's really M. Night Shyamalan, who then introduces Hideo Kojima to stage and announces MGS4:Supersistence. Then they both yell "WHAT A TWIST!"

I learned my lesson to not expect anything big from MS. They will usually boast about how grat they are doing and then show us games and stuff we already know is coming. The geek inside me hopes im wrong and prays they show something out of the ordinary (KILLER INSTINCT3) but Mr. Common sense is telling me dont expect anything jaw dropping from MS.

I really want to see more about APB, primarily. I'm really excited for the new Banjo, but I'm already sold on it. I'm hoping a redesign for LIVE, and maybe some more features for the gold members who are getting totally jobbed right now-- and preferably new features in the sense of not just taking features away from silver members and letting gold members have them. I don't feel like multiplayer gaming is good enough for my LIVE subscription, when the non-paying silver members get everything else-- especially when most of the gaming isn't done on dedicated servers.

Seems like a weak lineup to me, and a new controller will only fragment the installed base (+ Sony may have a new one too, so even steven).

Addons always fragment the installed user base and will never get developer support like controllers in the box will.

Because I don't have a Wii I'm actually hoping they do motion sensing and incorporate it with Banjo Kazooie. That would be cool. I'm glad that still hasn't died yet and got a mention. I'm also hoping for something about Alan Wake, and I hope it wasn't pushed back to the next system.

Fable 2, of course. My hopes are also for Alan Wake, but I am starting to doubt that we'll see any more of that before the Fall. Info on Knights of the Old Republic 3 would be welcome, but unlikely. Peter Jackson's Halo project might be good, but that would be more icing than any necessary component of the cake that I hope to see from Microsoft at E3.

Banjo covers the ground as a platformer, Fable for exclusive western RPG, Infinite Undiscovery for JRPG, Gears covers the shooter genre... so hopefully we get some insight on some action-adventure, sports, racing, and sandbox titles on the horizon.

@Gray665: actually the reason this e3 isnt exciting is because nothings been leaked really except some wide rumors... which is great as it means we dont know what to expect almost any announcement will be a major hit out of left field... last year sucked to me cause we kinda knew most of what was announcing from everyone, great demos and videos but it wasnt "surprising" ... we've got bungie/microsoft and a few others all saying they have "surprises" dont know if they'll be big or not but still i rather any surprises than none.

also the fact that this is the first time that MS has skipped a bi-annual software release for the 360 means something is up behind the scenes.

Fable 2 and Gears 2 are what I'm currently excited for (and Rock Band 2) but what I'm really looking forward to are whatever new things are going to be announced by Microsoft. They seem to have a lot of stuff up their sleeve for this conference so I can't wait.

I'm hoping for a Too Human demo during E3 week.

I'm always happy to see more Gears 2, but I really want to see what's in store for next year. I would like to see how Halo Wars is coming along, but I would love to see a new MechAssault in the pipeline, or even a new Crimson Skies. Microsoft should update some of those great old franchises.

And then again, I'm also hoping to see something completely new, something that blows me away in the same way that the original Gears did when it was first announced.

I'm very much interested to see what Bungie has up their sleeves for E3, at least I hope it will still be Bungie fueling the Halo franchise.
All this talk about motion control also seems plausible. Sony and Nintendo have it, it'd only be fair for Microsoft to jump on the bandwagon. Who knows maybe Microsoft could innovate it in a way that has never been done before.
Oh, and of course I'm looking forward to more Gears of War footage and multiplayer news.

Bioshock 2 is one other game I think will be announced. Given that the PS3 is getting the first one it makes sens for MS to get a timed exclusive again on the second chapter.

I think a new franchise would be great. Don't get me wrong, I love Gears, Halo, and all the other games with obvious sequels coming out, but a new franchise that really compells us the way that games like Halo do would be amazing. Seriously - we need a new hit franchise from Microsoft, and sorry, Alan Wake probably wont fulfill that need.

But other than that, I'm really looking forward to hearing about Gears 2 and Fable 2. I'm a little worried about Banjo because in all honesty Rare has been putting out completely mediocre games on the 360.

Although it isn't a Microsoft exclusive, I wanna see more on CoD5. I know Treyarch didn't do the best of jobs on CoD3 but I feel as though Activision is really going to try and make this feel just as good as CoD4. The new screens certainly look great.

Fantasies:

New Halo game that let's you play as a regular marine. This would be amazing because instead of being the power house known as Master Chief you would be an average soldier fighting through terrifying waves of Covenant and Flood forces. (Maybe this could be a prologue?)

I think the demo that is supposed to be released this week should make my mind up.
