See Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, the GITS series (original and 2nd gig), Macross Plus, etc.

Then on the other side you have series based on manga still in production, where they have no fucking clue what they're doing next, where they're going with it, or what they'll do when they catch up to the manga, so they do completely random shit that makes no sense.

No idea why, but that 2nd clip freezes my Firefox... every single time I try to play it too. The 1st and 3rd work fine though. Weird.

In any case, looks like a good purchase to make. Has the NMH feel and a slight bit of music-synced-action as well for a good "synthesaesia" effect that might lead you to taking actions such that you're DJing what you hear. Can't wait to try it myself.

-Make a proper "Samurai Champloo" game. The OST for that series blows your 2008 hip-hop soundscan.

Dj Nujabe is one TEH best. It sounded like Tical on that last video.

-"Over Focus", Keep the blood and limbs intact till the focus breaks; then proceed to have all the gibs flying at once.

@slyzxx786: Look at the Macross Plus game for PS, and Plus only had four episodes. Battle Angel Alita's Gunnm was only two episodes (and a ton of manga), but even it had a PS game (complete and total UBER crap).
The length of a series means nothing if the fan base is interested enough to buy games based on the series.
@Vau: I also agree. I think Dragon Ball was pointless as a retelling of the classic "The Journey West" story. I know it has a ton of fans, but I never could get into it...

The game mechanic looks like a million other sword slash 'em ups before it. Oneechanbara even. But with that style, it also looks like a must have. There are many factors that can make or break a game...
