Bust Peter Moore in the Face. No, Really.

Ever want to roundhouse punch EA Sports honcho/former Xbox chief Peter Moore in the jaw? Astoundingly, word is you can do just that in Face Breaker, coming out Sept. 5. ButtonMasher reports thusly:
While previewing Face Breaker at the EA booth it was mentioned that Peter Moore's face had been scanned and entered into the game using the boxer editor. The face, which is creepily accurate, can be attached to any of the bodies and manipulated. Peter asserts that he suits a more chiseled look but the demonstration featured him as a blue monkey.
From talking with them more about the addition to the game it seems that his face will be included in the retail build of the game and will more than likely be an unlockable character.
That's a pretty shrewd move. Not sure how many sales it will do on that feature alone, but I'll put it in my GameFly queue.

A virtual Peter Moore is just not enough for the damage he did to the DC and Shenmue. Only the real one will do.

I love Peter. I'm not surprised that he'd take this piss like this. Definitely one of the best hires EA's made in the last few years.

well, back on GTTV they also had him fight against a replica of Geoff Keighley, my understanding was that the players could heavily customize their characters... or did I get that wrong?

@laencythe: They could technically get the pictures needed on the Wii by using your SD card, but I doubt they'll be doing that. They've even given the Wii version a title that is slightly different. FaceBreaker K.O. Party is the Wii version. When they first announced the game, it didn't include a Wii version.

Reggie gets in line to play this game for the sole purpose of punching Peter Moore. when Reg gets his turn, the virtual Peter Moore tells him..

Yay, another reason to use my camera!
Hopefully there won't be a snapshot feature for online play like in Burnout Paradise. I wish I had a warning, first time I get taken-out online and suddenly the game sends a screenshot of me to the player. Following this is laughter, because me in underwear on my couch, in the dark, is a very silly image.

@ZeeBeeEss: Hard to read the box when all Gamefly sends me is a sleeve that says "insert into envelope this way --->".
I could always use a big warning "look your best before playing online", it can come right after the photo sensitivity/seizure warning and before the saves automatically warning.

@KM91: Actually, I just remembered something from GT TV. If you fight someone online and beat them, you get to keep their head as a trophy. I can't see Reggie going online to play, but Dude Huge might. If he really wants to go by that name, he must remember, "the Dude abides".

That screenshot on PS3 would have made more sense if he was still at Microsoft. EA could profit from the console-wars by letting you beat up executives of the competitors.
As a Sony fanboy, you could beat up Mattrick for stealing Final Fantasy or the Reggie for not delivering compelling games.

I'd like to scan my own face for one of these some day...
Though the character creators on some sports games now are good enough if you have the skills and patience to use them. In a Tiger Woods game I made myself so accurately he even had the same shape of eyes/same marks underneath, same head shape, stubble level, skin age, wrinkle visibility, etc...
...though while he looked like a photo in the editor the game would animate him throwing tantrums or victory moves and stuff and the result was very uncanny. It was like looking into a mirror, then seeing your reflection take off and distort into something you'd never do. Still, sweet editor. I think the only disparity was my multiple-colored irises couldn't be reproduced.
