Then again... I have been surprised at how many of the smaller japanese devs that made the good jap-imports for PS2 are moving to the Wii over the PS3.

And 360 is getting most of the best expected 3rd party PS3 exclusives. At least as far as the big blockbusters anyway... and most of the smaller games I was expecting to go to the PS3 are going to XBLA and Wii.

This coming from a Sony rep seems to be the first step towards a little less arrogance from Sony about the PS3. Because you are a leader in the market for 10 years does not mean you will be for an eternity (monopoly is bad, competition is good.)

They should now be thinking about how they need to make it easier to develop for PS3 and rethink their marketing with the PS3 price.

this must mean that the ps2 has been penetrating audiences for a long time. basically they've penetrated too much and there's a hole too WIDE for the ps3 to begin penetrating. Sony should wait a few years for this hole to contract to allow a new penetration
