Because the people who bought KH in a large regard, the younger generation, and RPG diehards, aren't entirely the 360's fanbase. Most of them would call it "gay" and go back to playing Halo or CoD. KH is massive in Japan too, which means it wouldn't sell nearly as well as it should. It's just not the right fit. Multiplatform would work, though.

However, there's another side to this. I've said this about 600 fucking times but nobody seems to get it, and it's not really directed towards you in particular, just EVERYBODY talking about KH3 in this thread. The Kingdom Hearts team is making a game already. It's called Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Look it up.

If you want more Kingdom Hearts, the DS and the PSP are where it's at right now. We won't see an announcement for a new console KH game until Versus is finished.

Everyone hating on the ideas of MGS4 and KH can just go away. (I could have said something nasty, but I have control :D)

Fanboys/girls can get so damn annoying. Why would you be angry if "your" game is on another console so other people may enjoy it without having to fork out the cash for a whole console just to play it. I have a 360 and Wii, and would very much like to play both those games, as well as many others (ZOE3, God of War III etc.). If I heard that Gears of War II was getting a PS3 release I would think, good move, Epic. Now PS3 owners get to play a good game that was once an exclusive. Maybe Sony/Squeenix could pass over FFXXIII in return? Exclusives as a selling point is ridiculous.

Anyway bitch over, my hopes/predictions:

Microsoft
MGS4 gets announced for 360. (50/1)
Avatars announced with extra unleaked details, aren't as mediocre as everyone thinks. (150/1)
Square-Enix gives in and decides to boost Japan 360 sales by announcing all upcoming titles (plus a FF7 remake) for 360. (10000/1)
New innovative controller announced that isn't gimmicky. (20/1)
Rez2 coming to XBLA. (25/1)
New Bungie project announced, looks like an instant cult game. (4/1)

Nintendo
Chrono Trigger announced for PAL territories so we get a goddarn chance to play the thing. (2/1)
Mother/Earthbound Trilogy for DS announced, as we never got to play that in Europe either. (30/1)
English Localisation for Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor. (5/1)

I have no idea about Sony, I don't really follow them much, but I guess some Home beta delay/Little Big Planet delay?

Oh and maybe could some decent PC games be ported to Mac, please? (cue lololololol macs arent for games shit, even though I play Starcraft, Diablo II, Warcraft III and I'm about to start WOW on my Mac).

My predictions:

1) Nintendo will release Animal Crossing for Wii and they will call this their "hardcore" game. (2:1)

2) 360/PS3 fans will piss and moan about how the Wii has no hardcore games. (1:1)

3) Nintendo will announce some form of 'new' DS but it will not give any gaming functionality that the existing DS systems don't already have. Instead it will have some 'bonus' features in firmware that are not directly connected to the games. (2:1)

4) The new DS will not play GBA games and will not be compatible with peripherals that use the GBA slot (4:1)

5) Nintendo will brag endlessly about their sales numbers (1:1)

6) Microsoft will bring out their motion-control device, and explain how it's "much better" than the Wii remote, but no one cares and few people buy it (1.5:1)

7) Sony announces release date for Home. When it comes out, it's underwhelming (1.5:1)

8) Sony and some 3rd parties will announce some amazing A-list titles for PSP, and people will still complain the PSP has no games (2:1)

9) Sony and some 3rd parties will announce some amazing A-list titles for PS3, and people will still complain the PS3 has no games (1:1)

I don't think a Kingdom Hearts 3 for 360 is happening. Japan is a huge fan of Disney and obviously Square Enix. Doubt that Square would want to put that on the 360.

Wii perhaps? I think the Wii's target audience is best-suited to KH. That, and Square needs to stop making games that take 3+ years to develop.
