@Xenigma: I know it might sound and look stupid, but Bulletproof sold very, very well. I'm not at all surprised they're releasing this. I doubt this will do as well as the previous game, just because there's a lot of traffic in the third-person action-ish genre this year with Mercenaries 2, GTA IV, Prototype, Saint's Row 2 and more, but I think this will still do OK. It's a fun, if absolutely ridiculous concept, and the character models look realistic-ish (say hello to the uncanny valley) and I'm sure the voice talent will lend the game a feeling of goof-off good times. I think this will sell a half-million units for them.

The characters still need to shake off that plastic look. And the environment is "too clean." Not enough particle effects and stuff (can't these guys learn anything from CoD4 and MGS4?). I for one thought the trailer was pretty good, kudos for being ballsy enough to show off gameplay at this early stage.

In all honesty the game looks like a GoW reskin, right down to 50's pose as he is moving about with a pistol drawn. But hey, that is not a bad thing. If this game gets even modestly good review scores i'll be giving it a shot. Looks like brainless fun.

I'm not sure if the design team knew what they were doing, but it looks to me like when the controlled character (i'm assuming 50 Cent) is about to pull off some kind of special move, a skull appears at the bottom of the screen. Now, I looked at the trailer a few times, and the skull is strikingly similar to this particular skull...

That being the skull the Nazi SS "Totenkopf" service used, particularly those divisions in charge of carrying out and overseeing the killings in the concentration/extermination camps. Some designer recently got in trouble for inadvertently using the same image on a t-shirt sold at Wal-Mart-

Anyway what i am getting at is perhaps the graphics team didn't know what they were doing, perhaps they did, but regardless when it comes time in the game to kill a middle-easterner, a symbol very much like that of the Nazi SS Totenkopf division appears. This really should be brought to someone's attention before the media backlash ensues when this game is released and someone else notices. Pretty unacceptable stuff, really... be it through negligence or worse.

@FranksnBeans: If you look at the other Totenkopf images on google, the skull in the 50 cent games a lot like the other SS Totenkopf's. Plus the Totenkopf has the crossbones behind the skull just like the skull in this game.
