Speaking of Diablo, I was thinking of getting Titan Quest on Steam. Supposedly it's as close to a Diablo killer as man was ever meant to get, and the reviews were pretty solid for it. Should be good enough to tide me over until D3 comes out.

@DigiMish: I really enjoyed playing NOX, but I'm not sure that it is really that comparable to Diablo. NOX has a much slower pacing than Diablo; you're never fighting huge hordes of enemies for tons of loot, and there are stretches where you're not doing much at all.

Overall, I would say NOX is much more story driven than Diablo.

I DO remember the multiplayer in NOX to be particularly fun, however. Alas, I don't think anyone plays it anymore.

@Pezdispenser: I'd say pass on Titan Quest unless it's like $10. Imagine a gorgeous looking diablo clone with zero personality or flair to it. Very generic talents and very mundane weapons.

If you really like Diablo you are gonna love TQ, and like it was mentioned above while the spells and magic aren't as "flashy" or as interesting as Diablos the passive ones specially for the warrior kind of classes are fantastic since they stack up on your regular attack creating sort of combos instead of the usual generic attack animation, and no, TQ has personality but its different while Diablo is gothic TQ is more of "fantasy", in terms of stuff EVERYTHING is HUGE that plus GORGEOUS visuals and REALLY intense fights create a huge package for ANY true Diablo fan

And remember its only 19 bucks for the gold edition on steam

Yeah, I grabbed another Diablo battle chest last week. For the FOURTH EFFING TIME in my life.. Thank the Gods that Blizz finally got their online registration/game download system up and running, so that no matter what I never have to pay for Diablo/Warcraft/Starcraft again.

Sadly, EA took Maxis, destroyed them, and made them into a Sims Expansion machine. Long gone are the days of simulation games I'd like to buy from them. Don't even get me started on Westwood, Origin, Bullfrog, or Jane's.

It pains me that Mass Effect PC isn't on this list. It's the best 50 dollars I've spent on anything in a very long time. I have a feeling that the people who were adding 1 or 2 MB of RAM to their computers to play Doom 2 in DOS aren't really playing their games on the PC anymore, or stopped playing completely. ::tear::.

@Narishma: I'm sure I've said it before, but the Halo games on PC are sub-par, as there a far better fps around, for mp and sp.

List doesn't surprise me really, although it does look as if Maxis are onto a good thing with Spore.

Doesn`t pc mass effect have some kind of drm though, 3 activations or something? This is why i didn`t buy it.They think their game is so great that we will put up with anything, well they`re wrong.Maybe this is why it isn`t still in the charts.
