PAL PlayStation Store Update: July 4 Was Just Another Day

America, your PlayStation Store offering for the week was pretty poor, but you're excused. It's a long weekend, you're out drinking and celebrating and letting off fireworks. But Europe & Australia? July 4 means nothing, so you have no excuse. Unless you lot were hanging out for Commando 3 or (the admittedly great) Space Invaders Extreme demo, all you're going to find are the usual assortment of wallpapers you'll never use and trailers you've already seen online. Disappointing, if not predictable.

It's actually a pretty decent update if you on buzz which came out today in EU. I think it's fair to say the xbl updates of late have all been chargeable themes and pic. Comparatively it's actually not too bad at all.

@hotdamn: We sadly do have Coors Light in Europe, or at least the UK @KennyLanzJr: where it is in no way the way to go. No wonder teens can drink gallons of the stuff; American beer is already weak enough as it is but to do a light version? Really?
I'm not sure Mr Washington would be too happy with crap like that. Oh who cares my house is older than America...

Hey, atleast they actually got the Rainbow map pack..US is still waiting for that one. And i agree, COORS LIGHT, is the way to go.

I never expected much from SCEE anyway, so it's not too surprising. We still don't know the difference between the PS3 and PSP Echochrome because the PS3 version aint bloody out yet. Instead SCEE gives us another fricken Echochrome wallpaper. Seriously, localisation does NOT take this long!

One thing I do notice about PSN over Live updates ... a lot more FREE on the list. Especially with the themes and wallpapers.

Lets get this straight american booze is fuckn watered down piss, british ale n lager is 4 filthy Mersisiders, Guiness???? Thats a fuckin stout not a beer. Continental european booze is dirty with the exception of one ,Erdlinger, weiBbeer , the way to go. (dont get me wrong i hate germans but i do love erdlinger)

You don't have to pay for all wallpapers on XBL. Just think you could proudly sport TAG for your background and avatar. It's nice to see PS3 isn't filled with lame microtransactions (yet?).
