I want Persona 4 so badly. It's probably my most anticipated game for the rest of this year after Fallout 3. I love Persona 3 and even if the game is fundamentally same I will still buy it and happily spend 80 hours in it.

Since the launch of the PS3 the PS2 has been a heaven for niche titles: Odin sphere, Persona3, FES, Grimgrimoire and now Persona4 to name a few. I hope the PS2 can make it to next year.

I didn't like persona 3, I liked persona 2, but not 3, you really didn't explore around town like the other one and the characters didn't hit it off for me, the style was ok.

I hate, hate RPGs, but for some reason I was compelled to give P3 a try - it didn't leave ye olde PS2 for about 100 hours. I put so much time into it I didn't want to bother with FES - I loved it, but I wasn't about to put aside another hundred hours for the benefit of having Yukari in a maid's outfit (also I heard the story in The Answer wasn't much).

Still, I'll probably pick up P4 and give my 60gig some BC lovin'. Lately the Atlus localizations have been awesome... Odin Sphere = :O

I just beat P3 and I'm starting through it again to max out all the social links, even though the initial play through took me 90 hours. Should be less this time as I don't have to level grind the main character.

I cannot wait for P4! December can't come fast enough.

The shin megami tensei is catching on in America and Europe. P4 is looking good. Here's hoping it stays exclusive to Sony so that they can optimize the graphics for the series when they eventually put it on the ps3 system.

Persona 4 is very enjoyable. It's like Persona 3 but the POV when going through the dungeons is more over the shoulder than isometric now. The pace of the game is quicker (in getting through the story), characters level up quicker and you can also control each character now （a big bouns in my book).

People who were fans of Persona 3 will get along really well with this one. I just don't think I'll get to finish it before I go on holiday though!

Atlus is one of the best companies around in my opinion, their games are usually top-notch and they're unique (Trauma Center comes to mind). That being said, I'm not too sure about Persona 4 (Haven't even finished 3, and it seems kinda same-y).
