Well, to use movies as an example... Underworld... The Matrix... Saving Private Ryan... They can use a different color palette besides next-gen bleak. Actually, if they do it right, they could probably use a warm color palette that includes pink, and still have the bleak destruction thing happening.

Mostly, I just think that look is played out, and they're half-assing it at this point by going that direction. I'm probably just sensitive to these kinds of things since color correction is one of my post-production forte's.

And like I said, that could be only one portion of the game, and it looks like the concept could lend itself to radically different styles within the same game, so I'm gonna wait and see. But what I have seen so far looks boring to me.

Gameplay might be cool, but I'm not feeling the art direction/graphics. It looks fine, but I think I'm finally getting tired of "next-gen grey/brown" covering everything. And maybe I'm way off. If I get the general concept of this game, I could see there being tons of color and non-generic art direction. We'll see...

The video looks exceedingly plain, even compared to Fear. Still, if it deviates from TimeShift's formula and there are some Braid-like time puzzles it could be great.

Think about it! Water would actually have an impact on gameplay, rather than being the equivalent of "space" in a Sci-Fi game.

Advice to anyone who reads before they watch (If that would happen) Turn your volume down.

I had my volume .. apparently louder than I thought and I about jumped outta my seat when it started playing.

Anyways, the video looked pretty, but that's about all I can say. Who was the enemy exactly? The only thing I understood was that something is unstable. (Assuming its time travel)
