I'm not too keen on whether or not games have done this in the past, but will there and should there be any complications regarding this type of box art, or rather - are there any sort of regulations a company must follow when producing their box art? This isn't a very extreme case but I could see little Jimmy wandering into the gaming section at his local Best Buy to pick up a DS or what have you, and sees this, followed by his parents complaining to the store.

Either way, love the box and will more than likely be checking it out in one way or another.

What I find really funny about this is that it's a hand with one digit cut, bitten, or "something else"'d off, and yet still the box art shows RP, as if the game could possibly get anything less than M. The box art alone will get them an M rating, haha...

I suppose it's in reference to the four-player co-op human survivors, but you allow four other players to play as zombie bosses. Shouldn't it, then, be called "Left 8 Dead"? Oh, and I hope there's at least two-player split-screen. I fucking hate this generation, with it's, "GAMERZ DONT HAVE REAL FREINDS, ONLINE ONLY!" mentality. I really miss playing video games with people that I know, in the same room. Preferably with bots. Two-player split-screen would rock me like a hurricane, in this game. Hopeful, but doubtful.

Say what you will about the Orange Box's front, but the side is a stroke of genuis. When that game is placed in a shelf full of black and white game cases it sticks out like a sore thumb (sorry Lost 4 Dead), calling out to the shopper to pick up and buy it.

(PSA) AND PLEASE NOTE: just because you buy a game off of Steam does NOT mean that you can use the Steam menu to connect to friends, That was a deciding factor for CoD4 and I was bummed when I found out after the fact. Although this is sierra backed so it should be alright.

4 the people not understanding why valve is using 4 instead of for, it's becuase it's a 4 player co-op game. Also, if the title was Left For Dead, it just looks boring. Having numbers in a title makes it exciting somehow.

Ok, all EA is doing is putting what Valve made, the game, which is available on Steam, on a DVD disk. They are distributing it irl because they have a partnership with Valve. EA in no way had any involvement in the making of the game, so if you are not gonna buy Left4AWESOME because EA is a publisher, then buy it off of steam, therefore none of your money is going to the Evil Corporation know as EA.
