I'd like to see them put "Duke Nukem Manhattan Project" on XBLA as well. That was a great 3D side scoller that reatined the mature flavor of the original Duke game and is a natural for XBLA.

Being the giant old school FPS nerd that I am I still have the full line of Duke Nukem action figures at home. The "Octabrain" even came with green slime inside of it's head. What for? who knows, but the figures were cool! :)

While I have fond memories of playing this game way back when and plan on downloading it on XBLA, I must voice my displeasure with developers having online "kill 'x' number of players" type achievements.

That being said, 500 kills isn't nearly as bad as some other games.

It's nice to see such a great game come to XBLA. I still remember back when PC FPS games started to take off and I felt 3d Realms and ID Software where the best developers in the world. I remember being on my dial-up internet waiting impatiently whenever 3d Realms or ID Software were releasing a demo for a new game, only to find all the servers overloaded and slow just minutes after becoming available. It was always worth it though, especially since back then demos actually provided hours of game play. By the time you finished you couldn't wait until the full version dropped. It's been years since I played Duke 3d, but hopefully all the countless hours I use to spend playing my friend over a modem will prevent me from being to rusty when I pick it up again :) Hopefully this will be a trend and they will release Shadow Warrior on XBLA to.

I've been playing Bionic Commando: Rearmed lately and it keeps reminding me of Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. That game might make a good XBLA game as well. I wish they'd make more of these 2.5D games, either as remakes or entirely new IPs.

Time to Kill was pretty sweet, as I recall. Hard, but I liked it.

I'm definitely going to snag this one. My backlog still sucks (slowly but surely plowing through Assassin's Creed between Netflix deliveries of The Wire), but it'll be fun to play a game I've toyed with through primarily through console ports of varying quality over the years and take it online.

I loved Duke Nukem 3D back in the day, but believe me, nostalgia only goes so far. These games don't hold up well with time. If they re-do the engine with modern technology, then I'll be more interested.
