Crazy Gun Toting PS3 Family Man Arrested

Earlier this month, a man walked into an EB Games outside St. Louis, pulled a gun and told the clerk his family was being held hostage and that he needed a PS3 to set them free. Good news! The police have apprended the man, his gun and the PS3. According to the police, the man's family was never in danger. According to us, the man is bonkers.
What else we learned: When the police originally were called about the crime, they arrived on the scene 37 seconds later as they have a station near that particular EB Games. 37 seconds? That's fast, but not crazy fast as the man, his gun and the PS3 had already fled the scene.

OK seriously, we just had a story here about home someone got jumped over a PS3, several months ago there was a story about a fight or something over a PSP, now this? What is it about the PlayStation brand that just continues to attract violence?

Was there ever really a question of his family *really* being in danger? Come on. Lol @ the people in the other thread who even considered it and made comments like "Well what would YOU do if it was your family!11!!!1?" L-O fucking-L.
And again, even if his story had been true, it gave him no right to endanger other people's lives for his personal conflict.

I remember when I was a kid I hit the alarm at my dads store cause I didn't know what it was and it was blinking red at me so I had to hit it. We had cops there in under 30 seconds with their guns drawn ready to shoot up the place. Surprisingly I didn't get in trouble.

In high school, my buddy's family had a restaurant that had the dining room completely destroyed before the fire department across the street put it out.
An hour after the call, they finally rolled across the street. It took them like 5 minutes because most of the really flammable stuff had burned up super quick.

Huzzah! It's about time we found out some information about this guy and his family. After the original article, I was so worried that this guy was just completely off his rocker and not that his family is in danger. Now I want to know if he was playing his PS3 when they caught up with him.
As for the 37 second response time... DAAAAAMMNNNN. Are we sure this guy wasn't on something when he decided to claim that he was robbing the store of a PS3 because his family was being held hostage AND decided to rob the Gamestop right NEXT to a Police substation?
