While Michael Phelps deserves all the praise that he gets and at least 3 different harems suiting his different moods, the fact that World at War is finished already says absolutely NOTHING good about activision AND Treyarch. They should be polishing this game up till 2 weeks before it's released, so then they can start manufacturing. This is how you know something is treated as a cash cow franchise, when it's just milked and milked and then left in the fridge. I'm sorry, I just prefer my games freshly squeezed. Time for me to NOT buy the 345,213th world war 2 fps that has been released in modern gaming. And I'm especially glad that a national icon like Phelps doesn't have to waste a penny of his 5 million dollars in endorsements on a game that has been sitting stale for this long.

of course the game is finished. Treyarch has had YEARS to make this game, and their main focus now is marketing, to try to sell as many copies as COD4 did, it will be difficult to accomplish but will be impossible with no effort at all.

I commend Activision for this genius product placement plan.

MICHAEL PHELPS!!!...

it is a known fact that phelps is a gamer, one that takes a liking to the COD franchise.

Activision knows millions watch the Early Show, and many many more will do so online, which we all did.

So what better time and place to show off the game then here and now with michael phelps...

This one little 5 second COD5 plug will generate TONS more interest in the game.

hell, i almost forgot about the game until i saw this online, and henceforth i have gone to my local Gstop and reserved a copy.

+1 for Activision.

oh and its almost certain with Phelps love of video games plus the greatness of his performance at this years olympic games, that we will undoubtedly see a

"Swimming with Phelps" on the Wii or a

"Olympic Zone swimming with Phelps" with 8 player online mode via XBL or PSN.

I do believe this is lies - mainly because they haven't finished the game yet.

Also, even if they did give him a disc, there's no way to run it on home machines, as burnt discs don't work on retail hardware. So unless it's a final pressed disc, which it won't be because they haven't sent through Sony QA yet, then it's just an empty box.
