At PAX on Saturday at 6PM in the Wolfman Theatre come see my co-host and I present "Beyond Dungeons and Dragons". You like all the cool indie video games, why not check out some indie tabletop RPGs? Much awesome will be had.

Even if you don't come to my panel, I hope to meet many awesome people at PAX this weekend. It will be my first trip West of the Mississippi, so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

It's a simple tool that's trying to get people interested in a variety of things. From games to standard flash (aka silverlight.) etc. We're insidious that way.

@Rampage: Why would they waste some huge announcement on PAX? The people in attendance are going to have a boner no matter what they show. This isn't a bunch of jaded journalists/industry people, it's a nerd-fest. They'll cheer whatever they're given unless it's something totally beyond redemption...and it's not like any of those games are going to fall into that category.

I am intrigued as to what else is there besides Gears of War 2. Last year they were really pimping out Mass Effect and Bioshock, but they didn't reveal any secret games or anything.

I'd rather find out if Sony will have LBP playable.

I thought after GC with no presence, MS would really wanna show some stuff off. I really don't want any more trying to become the Wii.

Not so surprising to see that all they have to show is Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, and the new xbox experience. Everything else they've got is multi-platform. The rest of 2008 isn't looking too well for Microsoft, hopefully they got something planned for 2009; Nintendo and Sony already have so much planned for the rest of '08 and early '09.
