Uh, yeah. I don't have high hopes for, but I can wish that the dialogue turns out at all like I imagine it will:

"There are certain rules that one must follow in order to survive a LAN party. Number one: You can never share routers. Low bandwidth equals death."

"Isn't this LAN though? That shouldn't be a problem."

"Number two: You can never have energy drinks or eat snacks. The weight factor! You're fat and it's an extension on number one, you can't reach behind your setup. Number three: Never, ever under any circumstances say "snack run," because you'll take forever."

"I'm goin' to the corner, anyone else want to go?"

I just hope it has b-horror-movie staples like plenty of up and coming actress nudity, cheesy one liners and lots of "I'll be right back" lines leading to grisly deaths.

Honestly, Scream did such a good job of sending up horror flicks that it seems the only thing they do these days is gore-porn. It's too bad because Movies like the original "Halloween" show what horror flicks should be.

@LandMineLandSnake: I actually came in here to say the same thing =P that Creative mouse is the balls. Probably the heaviest mouse I've ever used and it's shape is more like an upside down bowl. It wasn't until I used that mouse (cause a friend bought 20 of them for $40 for his shop) that I realized how often I just pick up my mouse and keep my wrist in place. Only realizing that because I couldn't pick up that mouse with it's clumsy shape.

Misc. nerdy info aside...

This movie is certainly on the low budget side but they don't seem to do anything to compensate for that. The trailer alone was shot badly enough that I think watching it will just give me a headache. I'm all about the slasher films, but at least shoot it on a dirty camera with some celluloid and not on some HDVs. Some friends at a LAN party probably were watching too many slashers or someone made a cliche remark when they went off by themselves that caused this genius movie of an idea to be born.

Not that I wouldn't watch a movie about a LAN party massacre, just probably not this one...

Yeah, I'm a buzz kill, maybe cause it's so early.
