Fair enough, though I don't really know how big of an issue that is in this generation. I mean Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey are all widely available still a year or more later.

I think Microsoft has a sizable advantage right now when it comes to JRPG's, and to me, it just seems like it would make more sense to space them out a little. Even if it's just by a month. I mean you can have Tales of Vesperia in September (or Late august in this case), then Infinite Undiscovery in October, and Last Remnant in November. C'est Parfait!

If you are one of the poor SOBs that decided to pick it up 8 weeks later to find that it's not as available as you hoped it would be then you just got screwed :( I some times buy games like that (during the holiday season) to prevent being screwed :3

Just wondering, do you plan on playing Tales and Infinite at the same time? Maybe I'm just different, but I like to play one RPG at a time. I feel I'd enjoy the story more, and get more "immersed" in that game. I guess it's the same for any genre game for me. If I'm playing through a specific platformer for instance, I probably wouldn't play another the same time. But I feel stronger about RPG's because of how story driven they are. Like I said, maybe it's just me.

Um, according to Amazon Infinite Undiscovery is coming out on Sept. 2nd. If it is indeed coming out next week, it would be the most idiotic move ever for Microsoft. I mean, why would the release Tales of Vesperia and Infinite in the same week? Even releasing them in back to back weeks is a bit short sighted. Are they both not targeting the same demographic? I'm a JRPG fan, and I just think it would make more sense if there was a few weeks in between the two releases. It'd make more sense from a business standpoint anyway. Plain and simple Infinite should be shelved till October.

I imagine they have some say or do some planning for their release schedule, but I guess that's a good point. Perhaps it's all up to Namco/Bandai and Square. If I was either of those companies I would try and space my game a little bit from the other. Both have their reasons for thinking they could beat the other. Tales being an established franchise, Infinte coming from Square. Though I imagine sales for Tales will be much higher.

I'm hoping that the new James Pond game will be a gritty, stylistic reboot for the franchise in following with "Casino Royale." Perhaps we'll finally get the in-depth, psychological portrait of our favorite amphibian superspy that fans have been clamoring for. Good thing the DS has 2 screens 'cause it's gonna need the extra space to contain all that awesomeness.

You can't control them directly, but it's kind of cool to see what the ghosts unleash upon them while hearing their heart start pounding like crazy. How is Prison Tycoon 4 any different from those sociopathic Sims videos where they box a guy in a tiny room and watch him go bonkers over the course of nine hours.

Incidentally, if you want a game that truly lets you get your Sim Sadist on, try Ghost Master.

It's an old game, but you can still find it on Amazon and such extremely cheap. It's basically The Sims, except you don't control the Sims (they even speak the Sim Language.) Instead, you control the ghosts that haunt whatever location the Sims inhabit. Your goal is to scare they stupid and get them to run from the place. Even better, you can drive them insane, which is HUGE points and can be used to scare other people when they begin wandering around pouring hot coffee down their pants and setting desks on fire.

It's basically taking the best part of The Sims (torturing them and ruining their lives) while playing through fun homages to classic horror films like "The Amniville Horror" and "Poltergeist."

One of my favorite games of all times, and I think I just gave myself the want to play it again. I have a week to kill until Mercenaries 2, after all.

@Combichristoffersen: Exept for Crazy Golf all these games are developed by Humongous Entertainment and Ron Gilbert (or were developed since these are ports of the PC versions). These are solid point and click adventures for kids, no shovelware.
