A game from D-pad studio, made for PCs which don't have D-pads (traditionally), and the 360 which has the worst D-pad in the history of D-pads (it's only major flaw from being a perfect controller).

I much prefer the 360 controller any other controller out there right now. The DS uses the same cramped design that ive hated for a decade and I wont even get into the wiimote. The analogs on the DS are unusable imo due to the fact that they are not located properly. My hands cramp up after just 10minutes using them, which means that any game that uses analogs has to be bought for the 360 for me. The Dpad may be better, but you cant use a dpad for analog controls where as you can use an analog for dpad style controls. The 360 dpad sucks, but I use the analog for everythign and it works great. Having been a gamer for 25 years, im was quite suprised at how well I was able to change over to pure analog usage. Id also like to state that its not like the Dual Shock has a great dpad either, rather I hate it almost as much as I hate the 360's dpad. the triangles piss me off to know end as it hurts your fingers and its rather unresponsive at times. Especially on a wireless controller.

All that said, this game looks fun. I love old school 2D style games, wish we saw more like this and Castle Crashers coming to the consoles.

I love the style. Seems like they're going out of their way to capture that palette-limited and pixelated SNES look. That plus the fantasy+steampunk vibe ensures I'll be keeping an eye out for this game.

@noesmano: For indie games like this it's mostly a matter of practicality. The 360 dev tools are incredibly user-friendly, especially to those with PC backgrounds. Once they get the game out on XBLA they might try tackling a PSN or WiiWare port.

Let's all hear it for a sd platformer comeback. This game looks good, personally I'm looking forward to get Warioland: Shake It! in a couple of weeks. I'm getting my fix by playing through Cave Story again and just downloaded a couple of levels for Knytt Stories. Oh and let's not forget Megaman 9 also hits in a couple of weeks.
