N+ Gets XBLA DLC Deluge
Posted by Stuart Houghton at 10:20 AM on September 9, 2008
The XBLA incarnation of cult Ninja platformer N+ is due to receive another healthy dollop of DLC.
For a measly 200 MS Points, players can guide their agile stick figure avatars around 150 single player levels, 50 multiplayer 'race' levels and 25 'survival' multiplayer maps. Add to this the July DLC update (150 single player, 50 multiplayer) then throw in the built in level editor and N+ probably has enough levels.
Also out this week are 200 points worth of new boards for Buku Sudoku at something like one sixth of a point per puzzle - that's pretty much a metric plethora.

There can never be too many N+ levels!

I loved N+ but I lost all motivation to play the last pack. The lack of leaderboards killed the replay value for me to try and improve my score...

N+ is a must-buy for those who like challenging games. This game takes a whole lot of skill

I grealy enjoyed the free version of N, and N+ on my DS is good for on the go fun, but I'm not sure about this.
How many levels can you really do before you just don't care anymore? How soon until you can't remember one stage from another? How soon until this N+ meets Portal fan game?

I already bought the last pack. After 1000 levels all the levels start to look alike.

@nitromic: I find it fun to play with friends... most of my simple play still goes to Solitaire on my phone.

Good stuff if you like the game. It was too simple for me to get into and I don't like the art style. I'll stick to Pixel Junk Eden for my simple play.

@Greendomo: Lack of leaderboards? Are we talking about the same N+...?

Does anyone know if either of these N+ DLCs have new achievements to get?

N+ is the most perfect 2D platformer ever.

For 200 points, these are a steal. The last pack was alittle easy, but still, for 200 points, I'll buy pack after pack after pack after pack.
Keep it up N+ devs!

for anyone who hasn't picked up N+, you should really REALLY try the demo, or get the free version for PC.
such great, classic platforming gameplay. avoiding the rockets are always the most fun, i think. making a perfectly timed jump is very satisfying.
thankfully it takes about 100 deaths per level before you really start to get frustrated! no load time ftw.

These levels are medium, the last one was esay. So they are harder and probably better! Can't wait to try them out with my girlfriend!
