Creepy Rock Band 2 Advert Gives Up UK Release Date?

Couple overnight tips point out this weird Rock Band 2 spot presently running, apparently, in the UK. First, Harmonix have given this young lass a full backal lobotomy and replaced the brain matter with a miniaturized band. No wonder she has such a placid look.
More important is the message "Rockband 2 out November, Rockband out now," at 0:16 to 0:20. Price quoted is in pounds and Miss Moneypenny supplies the voiceover so, there's no mistaking this is for the UK. The Rock Band forums are alive with Brit commenters taking this as gospel. Harmonix have offered no confirmation yet. So, we'll call it a rumour for now, taking care to use our special friends' spelling of the word, the notional agreement of collective nouns, and the word "advert."

This could mean that only the game rock band 2 is being released in November in the UK. I wouldn't be surprised if it took another few months for the new instruments to be released in the UK. The rock band guys certainly haven't been rushing things in Europe up till now, much to my annoyance and probably to the gain of Guitar Hero.

This Rock Band 2 advert is definitely showing here in the UK, I recall seeing it last night and it stuck in my mind more because I just recently purchased Rock Band and can't want for Rock Band 2.
I would find it weird for the advert to be actually shown on the TV and it turn out not be true though.

Woo! This would be pretty awesome, as I would really like to pick up Rock Band but don't see the point when the 2nd game will come out at some point with better instruments. Would really like to see a much more reasonable price for the UK though.

I guess this is part of the 360 ad campaign? I love an ad for a multiplatform game that goes on to try and sell a single one of them.

yeah this is definitely playing in the US as well and i like a billion times more than the AC/DC commercial (nothing wrong with AC/DC i just think this one is more creative)

Either Microsoft have screwed up big time or the people who claim to see it in the US are telling porkies. You may of seen a similar advert but doubt very much it ended by saying the 360 costs £129.99. And since Rock Band 2 is already out it in America probably didnt say it was being released in November either

@Bumhug360: No, its the EXACT same advertisement, except it doesn't say the November thing, and at the end it says something about it being out now, and "Xbox 360, starting at $199"
But the entire look of the add, and content, are identical.

@HikariOblivion: Well, it is on 360 first, and MS is easily the one supporting it best. What, with is having the game work better on 360 then PS3, better DLC support, getting it early, able to delete tracks we don't like, (DLC and Exported ones only) and better working online with it.
So yeah, MS is supporting RB best, and it is the best on 360.

@KaemonKei: I do appreciate your attempt at humour by saying its the EXACT same advert and then pointing out the differences. Point of this news article is Rock Band 2 could be released in Europe in November. So far there has been no mention of it being released over here (it took until May this year for the first one to be released on the 360 here and its only just been released on the PS3, PS2 and Wii). We know it may be released in Europe in November because an advert showing in the UK says so, we know its an advert from the UK because at the end it quotes prices in £'s not $'s.
So saying the advert is showing in the US is a bit pointless because in the version showing in the US it doesnt say Rock Band 2 out in November

This is really an Xbox 360 ad more than an RB2 ad, it's just that RB2 cameos in it.

When I saw this, it was for music games, not Rock Band 2 specifically.
Ah well, there must be 2 of them. I have seen other ones as well for Lego Batman and other games, but none for RB2 specifically.

Also. Release the price of Rock Band 2 with Instruments and make it lower than the console its selling on and then I may concider it. EA, Don't let me down.

These adverts are not advertising the game specifically, they are Microsoft ads putting across the price drop to £129.99. There is a second ad with a boy showing LEGO Batman.
