To each their own. Personally, BioShock was one of my favorite games. The characters, setting and plot were all great as well as solid gameplay.

It might not be as fresh as the new games coming out but if you're a PS3 owner who hasn't played on another platform it's definitely worth taking a look at.

I'll most likely be picking it up some time this fall/winter, but I'm already hoping to get Silent Hill: Homecoming, Little Big Planet, Dead Space, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Korg DS-10, Fallout 3 and Eternal Sonata this month... Or at least some of those... So... Bioshock is certainly on the list, there are just other games this month I want more. I've never played Bioshock before, for the record.

Well, I was fortunate enough to be able to sit by a friend and watch him play the 360 version (about 20 minutes of gameplay) after the 360 launch day, but it just kinda fell off of my radar seeing as I only had a Wii at the time.

Now that I have a PS3 (had to move up sometime?) this is one of those games that I will DEFINITELY be buying on launch day. I am fortunate enough to NOT know ANYTHING about the story (other than the basic plot) and can't wait to dive in like its a "new" game!

I started with the oldest media format and worked my way forward to the newest one and it eventually played games again. Again, it makes no sense, and I don't know why I tried it. I loaded a CD, then a PS One Game, The a DVD, then a PS2 game, then a blu-ray movie, then a PS3 game and it finally worked. If I skipped any of those formats in order (CD straight to PS2 game for example) it wouldn't play any blu-rays.

I played the demo on my PC and bought it for the 360 (achievements outweighed my purchase), but I'm still lenient on gobbling up a second copy for the PS3.

I haven't been keeping on top of things, so I'll be looking into any extra content in the PS3 version.

Thus far, nothing has worked -- I even resorted to wiping the hard drive clean and restoring the unit back to its original factory settings. No dice. It still plays CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray movies, so the laser can't be defective. If you have a solution, I'm willing to try it.

Mine is an original 60GB I got from Best Buy late last year when they were getting rid of it... so this happened a few weeks ago, but I only called Sony just last week, and am still waiting for my box.

Luckily I am under warranty. Problem is tho I lost the original receipt so now I have to wait till my ccard statements come in the mail too :(

You guys are going to love this game it is bad ass I am not sure what these guys added for the new content but I am sure it will be cool as hell. Take Two is my favorite game company by far anything they make I buy. And I have rarely been disappointed unless you count that Don King game. The thing that got me the worst about that is when I was buying it I was thinking back to all the pay per views I had purchased of Tyson fights where they ended up being 30 seconds long and hoping I wouldn't have the same feeling. Judging by the users comments this isn't going to go well for 2k. I mean they went to all the trouble of porting that and no one is buying it. Why?
