I'm glad they did end up toning down the dogs, i remember it looking ever so slightly rediculous. But indeed, box art looks much awesome. Hopefully the game is just as good.

@Gunloc: Any multiplayer with a grappling-hook-like device is always awesome.

I remember back in the day when I went without food money for a week in order to rent (yes rent) a Gamecube and a couple games. One of those games was a James Bond game (Everything or Nothing? Nightfire? I don't friggin' remember.) Man that game sucked ass but the multiplayer was surprisingly awesome simply because it had a grappling hook. I mean, grappling hooks aren't even something Bond is known for, but the devs totally saved that game just by sticking one in at the last minute, it would seem.

I can't wait to get this game. I'm sure the single player will be fun but I'm really excited
for the online multi. Please capcom do this right. Use the party system... Lost planet would have been perfect if it had the party system. Backing out of a lobby is sooo lame :(

I just realised that his right arm is the really weird looking one. Which is quite an achievement when your other arm is a bionic one with hot dog cables. Really like the steam/smoke coming off the arm though, even if the claw part does reminded me of the head of Dog from Half-Life 2.

@dowingba: I went the opposite route. I didn't know of BC until the screens from the retro awesomeness that is rearmed started to show up. I went trough the entire game without having played the original, and now I cant wait for this one.

BUT while we are at it, I wouldn't mind a BC:rearmed II with new stages and bosses. I love platform gaming, and lately life has been good to me! BC: R, Megaman 9, Braid, littlebigplanet...

Could be better, could be worse. I would just like it if it were the original Spencer from the original NES game. I saw the "Top Secret" trailer that you receive once you purchase and download the XBLA BC: Rearmed, and they showed the classic orange haired and green jumpsuit Bionic Commando. The new guy is cool and all but nothing beats the scent of old-school goodness.

The main character's design does look much better and with the right lighting, he can look like a total badass.

However, I'll just use my Nathan Spenser skin from Rearmed for this baby. GO! GO! GO! BIONIC!

As is stated further down, it is the same character. Also, from what I understand, that alternate model is unlockable via having the Rearmed game on your system's hard drive, so I think you can use one or the other once the game does come out.
