@F22: Really? The gold Dragunov was the easiest golden gun for me to get. The most frustrating was the MP44 to get the Gold AK47. I stopped at prestige level 7 to concentrate in getting all the golden guns, which I have. No way I'm going to go prestige again now.

For the first time since it came out, I've actuallt stopped playing CoD4. Two weeks now since I played it. Just started getting into GoW, and I have to say that I am enjoying it immensely. I am now looking forward to GoW2 nmore than CoD:WaW.

I never even began prestige. Once I hit 55 I thought the 5 stars were badass so I was like fuck it Im going to stay here.

Then I got my golden dragunov and I was like oh hell yeah Now I know ill never prestige.

Its always great to pull up on a playlist with all gold crosses and they see the 55 and theyre like NEWB OMG LOLZ U SUCK....Only to be dominated later on.

I should really start playing again.

I'll still enjoy my new playlists every week with Halo. I do love this game its just I got bored of the MP and I don't see how other people can't get bored too.

@golddbz2000: Unfortunetly now-a-days I only run Team Tactical with my friends. I like small team based games and TT has all 5 gametypes available, best of all worlds. So you won't see me in Cage Match. But I do know what you mean about getting bad rep, i'm at about 76% avoided. Thank god that feedback means nothing right?

I was going for a 1000 win streak but I occasionally play against people who only go online and leave their games on and never login and play so I sit there for 10 mins geting a tie game (which breaks up the win streak).

IW needs to release another map pack.
They also need to evaluate the rankings as when a group of us play (with ranks all over the spectrum), the server (algorithm) seems to think that its ok we split the teams up and add a bunch of Prestige 10 Lvl 55'rs (all Gold crosses) and then pit them against the lesser team.

Seriously, it's a great game. But failure to extend the gameplay by missing a map-pack incentive every 2-3 months (average time to exhaust the play) just means that a playlist isn't going to cut it. Broadcast, Creek, Chinatown and Killbox were nice but we need 4 more. Yes? And some newer, balanced weapons.

@SigmundTheSeaMonster: I agree, for a game that sold over 10 million copies world wide and DLC that sold so much it crashed Xbox Live servers temporarily, Activision and/or Infantry Ward hasn't been jumping on more maps for some reason.

Humm, I have been sitting on my level 55 character for a while. This might be enough to entice me to go prestige one last time. With double XP I expect to get from level 1 to level 20 in about 30 minutes.

@SAKY: You only need 100 headshots with each too. They're easy, half the time it's pure luck. I've been sighting them at someone's head and not getting the headshot, yet when I shot off the hip I was picking them up left right and centre.

I haven't played in a month or so since Geo Wars 2, BC: Re-Armed, Braid and Castle Crashers started rolling out on LIVE, so I might come back for this. A New Map pack would be better. As much as I vastly prefer COD4 to HALO 3, I got to give it to Bungie, they came correct with DLC where IW kind of fumbled.

meh. what they should do instead is fix the maps. how about better spawn points. kind of sucks when you spawn in front of a grenade/airstrike/ or 3 other dudes and just get ripped right away. that might be more appreciated.

I play the PC version, and I've hit 55 twice now, so this does nothing for me either way. Getting the gold finishes are pretty pointless for me anyway since my favorite is still good ol' digital.

Anyway, What custom classes do you guys play as? For my five slots two are riflemen (one automatic, one semi), one sniper, one LMG, and a UAV-jamming SMG class.
