Capcom have today released four new screens for Resident Evil 5. No idea who, exactly, at Capcom said "Hey, you know what we need? Zombie dirt bikes!", but the man should get a gold star.

I guess technically these screens are 'new' but they all look like stills from the gameplay trailer released a short while back.
Nevertheless, it does not lower the zombie dirt-bike awesome factor.

So the ending sequence will be Chris on a dirtbike, escaping a self destruct sequence. Like the jet ski at the end of RE4. Or the ridiculous PLANE IN A CAVE scenario at the end of devil may cry!

As much as i hate to rain on the sensationalistic headline, the game (as yet) doesn't have zombies. These people are far from the "undead", and have more inteliigence than Los Ganados (RE4's non-zombies).

Lost interest in this a while ago, I can see the way it's going and in my humblest of opinions I feel this has strayed from the path far more than Silent Hill dared to when people had said it went wrong. I'm sure this will sell tons and be a critical darling, but it's just too action focused for my liking (or rather it appears to be).

In a decade, zombies went from slow, brain dead, lumbering, and easily killed fodder who can't figure out how to work a door knob to fast, intelligent, weapon using, and vehicle driving.
Strange, but still could be very cool if they explain it properly like "I am Legend or "28 days".
This game will deliver though, Capcom is kicking so much ass and has become my favorite dev as of late.
Come on Konami, you can do it too!
Cancel that Castlevania fighting crap and give something on par with this. AND revive Contra too.

The enemies are just too close to human. What the Hell was wrong with the Crimson Head idea if they wanted to have fast enemies?
In a Resident Evil game, I'd rather be attacked by something savage and decaying, than some otherwise very ordinary person possessed by a naughty telepathic squid that's been shoved down their throat.
The whole 'Plagas' angle is just pure ARSE.

Hmmm, what are "zombies" (if they even are zombies anymore) doing riding bikes and buses? What happened to the good ole' days when they were stupid and what made them dangerous was the fact that they're were so many of them and could infect you. They need to bring back zombies and make it where you can become infected and have to stop the T-virus from spreading.

ahhh the old res i came to love has come and gone! zombies or watever they are now on dirtbikes? get real! give me dark cities with hi-tech underground labs, abandoned dark subways and such, and that will be the res i love! cant see it happening though after 4 and this! unless this has underground labs in the desert like in the 3rd film! thats the only thing that will restore my faith in this game
