-No. Eve that's less like MS Excel in space, more like Freelancer/Privateer/Elite. As it should be. Original Jumpgate predated Eve, and NetDevil and CCP are somewhat friendly anyway.

@darthpepito: I think that's one of the reasons I'm excited about it. I start to worry when I think the "Red Team", whom I always make TEC, have a thing out to get me. The AI in Sins is good, but it can't be that good, can it?

@valero: No. EVE Online is you point-and-clicking to direct the ship's autopilot to orbit this thing at this distance and maybe fire this gun at it. Jumpgate is twitch-based combat with players actually piloting their ships.

But even that was a take off of many other Sci-fi stories - and it looks good and interesting.

I'll never play it though - cause it's not on a console.

@Raziel66: Have you seen the trailers for EVE? Some of them are far more compelling than this. You can't tell whether a game is going to be boring or not from a trailer.

alright... so the story is standard sci fi dribble... I'm still sold by the MMO space sim aspect. This game'll be one to watch for next year.
