@syafiqjabar: You can easily sing whatever the hell lyrics you want as long as it's in time and key to the song. Believe me, I've experienced people singing in rock band and other games where they know the tune but not the lyrics and can't be arsed looking at the TV. I would be shocked if there wasn't videos on YouTube of someone singing Wierd Al lyrics or some other comedy stuff in these games. And if there isn't, get on it people...

I can't get why some people insist on pressing down on the strum bar with their thumb like that, instead of strumming naturally. What do those people do on expert? If they tried a Maiden song on expert using their thumb like that they'd get carted off to the emergency room with the worst case of thumb cramp ever seen in medical science. If they lasted long enough for that to happen, that is...

@shufflemoomin: I strum down using just my thumb for 90% of the notes. It's much easier for me then strumming up and down, and yes I beat expert. I'm not the best player in the world, but I have fun... *shrug*

I only use alt strum when a line of notes appear.

It may work for some people, but it certainly doesn't work for me and I wouldn't recommend someone who was new to the game try it that way. But hey, whatever works for you. For future reference, people discussing opinions on their own way of doing something is not elitist. And please note that I did not use pathetic 'leet' or even 'L33t' speak at any point. I'm not 12.
