Its usually why I avoid playing in crowded or popular game centers. You never will get a chance to try out anything.

For example the Shinjuku West SEGA Land or whatever has some of Japans highest ranking VF players hanging out there.

I beat it, but that was in easy. It definately can be challenging on the higher levels (At least for me). I really want the home version though, I'm just not used to arcade joysticks anymore.

Honestly Brian, I think your American styled tactics confused the hell out of your opponent in the 2nd round because for the longest time it seemed like he didn't know exactly how to counter your empty jumps to counters. Keep on rocking the unusual tactics, throw the habitual players for a loop!

Also, it was only now, watching people actually playing the game, that I realised how close it is to the original Street Fighter 2.

I liked how they improved graphics and other things but the gameplay remained almost the same!

I know that arcade! It's in Ueno in the midst of America Chou if I'm not mistaken? I ended up there during my Game Center crack fest week. There are actually quite a few in the area. But this machine doesn't let you put a card in, so I see why it's 50 yen.

Luke, I feel your pain. I still get my ass handed to me like that from time to time. Brian, you actually did pretty good, especially in that second round.

I totally can't wait to play that game for myself. I've been playing fighters like crazy lately: MvC, SF3, MSHvsSF, XvsSF, and even KOF 98 and 2002. Recently bought myself a HORI EX2 on the 360 for SSF2:Turbo HD Remix and SF4. Oh, and SC4 when I can get around to buying it.

Good effort, Crecente. I've been playing SFIV on a weekly basis back here in the states. Let me know if you ever need some training the next time you're in Japan, as I'll be moving there end of next month.

I saw some potential, though...you even tried using the focus cancel, nice! Some tips I could give you from the clip: You're jumping in too much. Be a little more patient, wait for your opponent to do something. Also, you seemed to be crossing up with random kicks. Forward (Middle Kick) works the best on cross ups.

I want to play this so bad. My poor excuse for an arcade around here bought the game, but they tried to install it into a Virtua Fighter 4 case... the problem with that is that VF uses three buttons... Street Fighter needs 6.... so the game doesn't work since the controls are pre-installed on SF4. Bunch of fucking monkies working down there, seriously. None of the games work and they put more money into the damn bar than they do the games. I'm not even stretching it when I say that half the games don't work, are turned off, or black out during fights.

They just don't want to fork out the money for the machine when they easily would make that money back and profit in about a weeks time. It's frustrating when I hear people that work there complain about how the place makes no money... Arcades are dying where I live because people don't take care of them. Putting a bar next to an arcade is not a good idea... half the time the guys get smashed and then beat the shit out of the games they are trying to play because they don't have the sense to know what they are doing when they slam shit around.

Sorry for my rant... it's just frustrating to know that you could play the game, that the arcade has the game, but that they are too lazy to figure out how to get it to work. And the worst part of it is that this is nothing new.

If you live in Seattle you know which arcade I'm talking about. Fucking pathetic.

That Guile is absolutely terrible.

Thanks for the video, though. I haven't gotten to play yet, but when I do I'll be watching for a focus attack on Guile's second sweep. I play Guile and it seems like that move is probably gonna be pretty useless now.
