I just got a translating job for the company that made this game. I like how the name of the company doesn't appear anywhere in the trailer, or even on the game's packaging. There is a flash of it before the game's title screen, though.

The shirt is ripped to pieces, but the pants live! The Planet De Jour is blown to dust, but the pants will yet see another long drawn oh-god-when-the-hell-will-it-end fight scene.

@phearx: They were only showing small game play parts.

They tell the story the first two main arcs in the Dragon Ball comic. Voice acting, cut scenes, fmvs, etc. It's there, even if the trailer focusing on game play doesn't talk about it.

I would love to play a Dragonball game (because I've played enough DBZ fighting games) However, this DS mechanic where you attack with the stylus looks like it doesn't work that well.

I hope they go to the big consoles with a Dragonball game.

Yeah as some said this is Dragon Ball not Z. Dragon Ball actually had a cool story, not that Z was bad but if it was a new show now I don't think people would like it as much. Anyways, the game doesn't look that bad but I doubt I'll ever play it.

@PuppyGuarder: That was also in the anime, along with the hilarious flashing Roshi scene and Goku feeling up people to tell if they are men or woman.

Funniest line in the early show is when Goku is spending the night with Bulma and he feels her up: "No balls!" Pity that kind of stuff was lost in the chopped to hell US version.

@YotaruVegeta: It actually works quite well. It takes a bit getting used to, but their are built in tutorials for all the moves.

@HikariOblivion: You can to a certain extent. The d-pad can be used in place of the stylus for moving Goku, though buttons are used as shortcuts or slight camera movements. You can't assign attack moves to them.

@mienai: @mienai: She flashes, yes, but it's only ever the backside that is shown in the comic/anime. I have the game and nothing is really 'shown'. Strategic placement used with the dual screens~. You do see a very brief flash of Goku's bits though. If you blink you miss it.

I have been playing the Jap version and it plays awesome. You use the stylus for everything a-la Phantom Hourglass. The only partial nudity I saw was...goku :( but they are prob taking that out of the american version. The game most likely refers to what Bulma does to Roshi to get is Dragonball.
