I really wish Steam would release their numbers.

But in all honesty I hate NPD numbers in general. For consoles it's a means to get fanboys to flame each other on forums as if the sales really would affect their console gaming experience. For pcs, it's just a means to have wild speculation on the market. There is far more to the market than just retail sales of pc gaming.

Crysis DOES have fun gameplay, it only got bad when the aliens appear. You can, for example, jump Hulk-like and throw logs at people. Or pick up people and throw them. Or throw chickens. Punch people though walls. Use speed and circle-strafe everyone before they can react. Be invisible and drop grenades in the middle of an enemy formation. I'm not disappointed if I have to run it on low settings as long as there's stuff you can do.

@darktorns: I kind of agree. :) I quite enjoy it, but the PvE aspect of Warhammer blows. I do have to say the game has TONS of stuff, but they aren't "introduced" very well, leaving its usage in the dust..

@mr_dimsum: I never expected War to be this good, i only bought it because a friend of mine was playing. After the AoC fiasco, this one is a solid game.
As for it being hetter then Wow, its not comparable, different MMOs all together. But i can say im having more fun with War than i ever had in the 3 years i played Wow. Excluding the thrill for the first time kill on a big boss, theres nothing that compares to that.

This +1. I'm sick of Crysis being slammed for its poor gameplay. The gameplay is freaking sweet. I've got most of the major FPS releases from the past year (Orange Box, CoD 4, Crysis, Frontlines) and Crysis is by far IMO the most fun to play.

I've already canceled my War acccount.

Game is boring as hell once you pass level 21 and the combat is too clunky to compare it to more refined games.
For those first 15 levels or so I agree...I thought we had a real contender here, but now I'm not so sure. I've never ground so much in a game and while I am still logging on... I don't feel like I actually want to. Its more like... well... too dark to go ride my bike. GF is out of town... Guess I'll turn on War for a little bit.

Wander the world for a bit...realize no one is doing anything except the same scenario I've already played 100 times. Guess I'll log off.
